Getting Familiar with Microsoft Word Familiarize the Microsoft Word window Things need to know in
Define what computer is and discuss the fundamentals of computer. Discuss the historical evolution of computers and differentiate the types of computer. Know the basic operation of a computer. To be able to know the different data size and speeds. Be familiar and see/touch the actual motherboard, processor, memory and disks Determine the importance and use of each parts of computer inside a system unit. Be familiar and see/touch the actual input and output devices Determine the importance and use of each input and output devices. Be amaze with the future peripherals of a computer like gesture recognition, emotion recognition, 3D printing and etc. The students will be familiarized with Microsoft Word windows, do common tasks mainly formatting, saving, opening new documents and exiting MSWord.
