to cornea, iris, pupil, lens, regulates the amount of light
retina, optic nerve, and blind entering the eye/pupil

part of the eye • It is a transparent disc which
focuses light onto the retina
Sense organs are groups of receptor
cells that respond to specific stimuli Retina
such as light, sound, touch, • It generates nerve/electrical
temperature, and chemicals impulses
• It contains 2 types of light

3 layers (light intensity) reaching the
• Outer sclerotic layer retina
• Middle choroid
• Inner retina Fovea
• A central part of the retina
where cone cells are most
concentrated to detect coloured
light.
