A: Hey, let’s talk about friendship. What kind of people do you usually become
friends with?
B: I usually look for people who are honest, fun to be with, and loyal. I like being
around positive people who make me feel comfortable.
A: I feel the same. I think being considerate is also really important. Like,
someone who listens and respects your feelings.
B: Yeah! I also like friends who are helpful. I try to be that kind of friend too — I
always help my friends with homework or when they feel stressed.
A: That’s great. I think I’m quite a helpful and friendly person too. I always try to
support my friends, even if I’m busy.
B: Same here. For me, friendship isn’t just about hanging out — it’s about trust
and being there when someone needs you.
A: True. Some people only talk to you when they need something. But real friends
stay close even during hard times.
B: Yeah. Actually, I had a problem with a friend last year. She stopped talking to
me when I was going through a tough time. That hurt.
A: I’m sorry to hear that. I had a similar experience. It made me realize who my
true friends are.
B: Now, I value quality over quantity. I don’t need a lot of friends — just one or
two that I can trust.
A: Same. I have one close friend. We’ve been best friends since high school. We
don’t talk every day, but we always understand each other.
B: That’s so nice. Do you like spending time with your friends often?
A: Yes, but I’m also okay with just texting sometimes. We usually meet on
weekends to eat out or study together.
B: My friends and I like to go to the beach or play sports. Even doing nothing
together can be fun.
A: Yeah, that’s the best part of friendship — you don’t need a reason to be
together. You just enjoy the time.
B: Totally agree. Real friends make you feel relaxed and accepted for who you are.
