Dear Applicant,

As requested, please find an Application Form attached for your full completion and
return by email. Please ensure this is no longer than a maximum of 8 pages.

The Trust's work concentrates on fighting HIV/AIDS in the developing world by funding
projects focusing on education and awareness, particularly aiming at young people in
and out of school. We only fund Registered Charities.

In addition to a completed Application Form, we require the following documents:

1) A detailed budget in your local currency and converted into GBP, US$ or Euros.
2) Registration Certificate: Please include proof of the charity commission your
charity is registered with.
3) FCRA Certificate (not applicable to all applicants, please make your own
enquiries as to whether you require an FCRA).
4) Audited Accounts for the last Financial Year.
5) Constitution or Memorandum & Articles of Association.
6) Latest Activities Annual Report.
7) Letter from your bank on official notepaper confirming the charity name and
banking details plus the signatories on the account.*
8) A photocopy of a recent Bank Statement showing the charity name and account
number.

9) At least two recent reference letters, one from a funder and one from a National
or International NGO.*
10) Organisation’s Financial Policy & Procedures.

*Please note, we do not apply for references or banking details on your behalf.

Once a charity has received funding, part of your commitment to us will be to provide a 6-
monthly progress report and a full end of year 12-month project report with photos in jpeg
format. These reports should be accompanied by a shorter version and, if possible, a
short video to be published on our website. We are occasionally asked to provide proof
by the Charities Commission regarding expenditure overseas and failure to submit these
reports may result in an investigation as to how your charity is using / has used these
funds. Please be aware that we are a small charity with limited resources and not all
applications can be successful.
