Scene 1: The Noisy Classroom
(Classroom is chaotic. Daniel and Vasko are playing hand cricket. Jake scrolls on
his phone. Zoe doodles. Crystal tries to focus but gives up. The Teacher watches
silently, then suddenly slams a book shut.)
Teacher: (calm, dangerous tone) “Since my lessons are so entertaining, let’s try
something new. Put everything away—no notes, no phones.”
Daniel: (mocking) “Ooooh, a pop quiz? Bold move.”
Teacher: (smiles coldly) “Worse. Now, you’ll teach me.”
(Class freezes.)
Mira:(Annoyed)” A pushisment once again, what a drag.”
Vasko: “…What? Seriously!”
Teacher: “For the next week, you will plan and give a presentation along with your
friend, and each has to give a reasonable logic to prove your point. The topic is:
Advantages of Education and Disadvantages of Not Studying. The condition is that
you have to make it as interesting as you just did around here.”
(Silence arose. Daniel is shocked.)
Mira:” I have to work with these people! uff”
Scene 2: Four Days Later
(Classroom transformed. Daniel nervously arranges notes. Vasko practices in the
mirror. Jake actually researches. Zoe and Crystal debate on what to say.)
Zoe: (surprised) “Wait, if we don’t do it right, we will make a fool of ourselves.”
Crystal: (grim) “And get the blame.”
Mira: (Shout)” Can you guys think about it a bit more optimistically?”
Daniel: (rubbing temples) “Why is this harder than it looks?!”
(Teacher enters, observing.)
Teacher: “Any Progress?”
Daniel: (grudgingly) “Yeah. Turns out, teaching is not just talking.”
Teacher: Now, show what you have got.
Daniel and Zoe: ("Advantages of Education")
Daniel:
Better Career & Financial Stability.
Studying helps you qualify for better jobs and earn a higher income. Without it,
you're stuck with fewer options.
Zoe: Opportunities Open Up.
With education, doors open. You can travel, apply for scholarships, or even start
your own business. Without it, those doors stay shut.
Daniel: Education Builds Character.
It teaches patience, focus, and responsibility. I've seen how regular studying turns
chaos into calm—and excuses into results..
Vasko & Crystal – “Disadvantages of Not Studying”
Vasko: Limited Career Options.
No studying means fewer choices. You miss out on skilled jobs, and that limits
your future.
Crystal: Lack of Decision-Making Skills.
Without education , you rely on guesses instead of knowledge.
Vasko: Limited Respect in Society.
Let’s face it—people respect those who are educated. If you skip studying, you
are often overlooked or underestimated.
Teacher: (nodding) “Now you see. Teaching requires preparation—just like
learning.”
Everyone: (quietly) “We get it. We are Sorry.”
Scene 3: After Class
(Students pack up. Daniel approaches the Teacher, hesitant. Vasco follows him.)
Daniel: Sir, we never realized how important education is.
Vasco: We always took it for granted.
Teacher: (to Daniel) That's the real lesson. Not just reading, but understanding.
Keep learning. Not just for marks—for life. Education develops us mentally,
holistically, and makes us strong to face the world(Holds his breath and continues).
Well done, children, your homework has not only made you see what education is
but has also made you realize its usefulness and vitality. I wish each one of you
happy enlightenment and welcome into the world of education. “
