Chronological time of 1994

the Movie
Beginning : In 1994 a teacher named Erin Gruwell arrived at

the school in long beach, California with the best

encouragement to teach a multiracial group of students, when

consulting with teacher Margaret Campbell about this group

she does not give the best hopes to want to teach them to those

young people since they belonged to gangs and were from the

marginalized neighborhoods of California.

Knot: the teacher who wants to probe her class with the new

students realizes that they have disorder and discovers a

drawing to a young man with dark skin color and observes that

they drew it with thick lips and laughed at the boy she tells

them that it is important in life to respect others, but she

receives bad comments about respect and that because they

should respect her if they did not know her and that she did not

try to understand them that she did not know what each

PLOT student lived to attend that kindergarten so that was , because

they didn't teach them anything Furthermore, it was evident

that among the same students there was rivalry for being of

different nationalities and that they hated the white race for

believing they were the owners of the system or for thinking,

saying, and forcing everyone in those marginalized

neighborhoods, the teacher told them about the holocaust and

as it was formed, creating the doubt about this topic. She

wanted to create habits for reading and realized that the same

school marginalized said students due to their condition. She

searched for donations and managed to get computers for the

students and thus encourage them to write about their lives and

what each one lived to be able to go to study or to survive the

danger in those dangerous neighborhoods and if one day they

died there would be no bad memory but a life story from there

came the name freedom writers

Ending:
the teacher confronted school officials to show them that in

those students in room 203 she had found a brotherhood and

that every day they fought to stay together both on the streets

and at school and even more now that they were united it is
not

the gangs but the desire to keep learning and change your

lifestyle. but the other teachers opposed a change in the system

of more than 30 years and this led her to the top leaders of

education and also to expose her personal case so that they

would let her continue the following year teaching her

wonderful family in room 203 .. . with great expectations after

the meeting, but they authorized her to continue with these

students not only the following year but all thereafter until
high

school

What did you learn S1 I learned that it is very important to fight for all the things
about the movie that we set ourselves. We cannot feel defeated in any situation,

however difficult it may seem. We can all contribute to

changing society from any type of job or profession in which

we work.
S2 that we should not judge by the appearance of people, each

one is a different world with its own problems and needs and

that we can make a difference

S3 It occurs to me the graduated boys and impacting with

their experiences other young people in conditions of

delinquency and streets. And of course the teacher with her

restored home and school with special government recognition

and significant incentives to continue the work. The useful

thing is not the work but how I develop it, the interest,

commitment and dedication that I place, because of it there

will be memories of who left or what was done, otherwise you

are just one more of the bunch.

S4 This film contains five messages: people shouldn't be

biased because being open-minded encourages people to know

someone, having compassion for an individual will help

people change their way of life, becoming cruel can only

generate hate, having the power of human will / goodness to

benefit humanity can make a person excel at any expense, and

becoming informed helps bring out the intellect of a person.

Non-judgmental and kindness was a theme in this film. If

more citizens have respect for others, we will live in a better

country. It's important to be non-judgmental because people

never know what happens in a person's life to make them act

in a certain way. Ms. Erin Gruwell's students were socially

segregated and had little ambitions beyond street survival. A

lot of people warned her that her pupils were all offenders who

couldn't be educated. Despite all the expectations against her,

she took a teaching role at Wilson High School. Erin Gruwell

viewed more of the students than the potential as offenders and

gang members; she saw them as individuals who had forgotten

their way of life. Instead of turning her back like culture did,

she put out a helping hand. She was sympathetic and non-

judgmental towards the behavior of the children and hate

towards each other.

How did the film make S1 It occurs to me the graduated boys and impacting with their

you feel? experiences other young people in conditions of delinquency

and streets. And of course the teacher with her restored home

and school with special government recognition and

significant incentives to continue the work.

S2 I felt that I am important in this life, in addition that we are

all good for something and that we must explore so that we are

good, that we do not let ourselves be carried away by a system

of government that does not help the least favored, that to get
ahead we do not need to be rich just want to get ahead.

S4 Wow! Wow! Wow! What a show! Much of the moment, I

was in pain. Very, very, very amazing episodes. It was great! I

didn't know it was based on a true tale, so that made the entire

premise of the film much easier. I'm proposing this to

everyone. A must see, in fact, whether you refer to it in some

shape of type. I think it offers optimism to vulnerable young

people and immense inspiration to conquer all barriers! Hillary

Swank plays a fantastic role in this show, and now I'm going

to go out and buy the movie. My son saw this show, and he

was in tears, too. He knew how lucky he was and how there

was no reason not to finish high school and go to college! I'm

going to add this movie to my list!

S5
How does the movie S1 The film is related to my academic program very well,

relateto the academic since if you look at what the protagonist did with the students

program you are is to motivate them, carry out an activity of self-knowledge,

studyn? self-regulation, self-motivation and development of empathy,

they applied how to channel all their emotions to through

emotional intelligence

S2 This movie is related to my academic program because we

know the different types of emotions of the actors and it helps

us to direct their hatreds and personal differences towards the

same end, guiding them with good emotional intelligence and

good neurolinguistic programming.

S3 In the development of the plot, it can be seen how the

teacher Erin uses psychological research methodology and

instruments explicitly and implicitly, the quality allows him to

obtain information about the reasons for his

S4 This movie has a colse relationship with my academic

program. I am studying psychology and for us is very

important to understand the different contexts the students

have inside the educational institutions. Our role is to help

teachers, parents and students overcome the different

situations around them, and this movie, is a clear example of

that
S5
Another ending for Another end would have been ... seeing the positive results of

movie could be the teacher's teaching method, presenting projects to the

government to receive resources and thus being able to help

hundreds of marginalized young people who have no one to

approach them to change their lifestyle.
