Conditional and Unconditional Forces

The document discusses the effects of medicine on human health, emphasizing that medicine acts unconditionally on all individuals and can influence both physical and mental states. It highlights the superiority of medicinal forces over miasmatic forces in combating diseases, even in favorable conditions. Additionally, it notes that while artificial diseases induced by medicine can expel weaker natural diseases, they do not cure them completely unless a suitable remedy is applied.

CONDITIONAL AND

UNCONDITIONAL FORCES
Vismaya Abhirami R
Roll no. 88
APHORISM 31-34
■ Health of the human body is affected by medicine than by
natural morbific stimuli.
■ Inimical sources (natural or artificial diseases) partially
affects physical and partially psychical to which are
terrestrial existence is exposed which is termed as Morbific
agents.
■ When we get disease, we develop disease at the level of
body and at the level of mind.
■ Medicine act Unconditionally at all time, under all
circumstances and on every individual
■ Every real medicine act at all time under all circumstances,
on every human being and produce peculiar symptoms.
■ Disease makes a man sick only if he is susceptible to it.
■ They can affect the vital force if the conditions and
surroundings are favouring it.
■ So miasmatic force can affect vital force in favourable
condition.
■ But medicinal force is powerful than miasmatic force and
can affect an individual without preformed conditions.
■ In Aphorism 33, Hahnemann mentioned,
“If medicines can protect from disease that is, raging around,
they must possess a vastly superior power of affecting the vital
force.”
■ The smooth scarlatina of sydenham prevailed epidemically
in children who escaped from former epidemics
■ Similar condition in Koningslutter, all children who took
Belladona remain unaffected by infectious diseases.
■ Greater strength of artificial disease develped by medicine
cannot cure the natural disease
■ One similar artificial disease force (medicine) is induced in a
patient, so weak natural disease is expelled out.
■ After the action of the medicine, artificial disease disappear (
modus operandi)
■ If partially similar or opposite acting remedy is given, only relief
will be there, but cure is not obtained.
