Hebrews 11:1
Faith is the certainty of what is hoped for, the conviction of what is not seen.
Faith is the certainty...
But what is CERTAINTY? It means you must be sure that God will work in what you are asking Him.

security that what you expect will happen.

You will heal in Christ Jesus. It is being convinced of what you do not see with your physical eyes.
Having faith in God is being sure that He exists even when we do not see Him, and believing in Him and His
promises, just as the text says.
Faith is a demonstration of trust and belief in what is trustworthy, truthful, certain, and real.
As Christians, our faith is based on the certainty that God (the object of our faith) will do what
we wait, in their own way and in their own time. We do not ask at random like spoiled or capricious children,
We ask according to your will, basing our requests on what pleases our God.

God loves us and He can do all things. This means that God is always able to take care of
us. So we can trust in God and have faith that He is always with us, no matter

In our Bible School FLORESTA KID'S, we are starting a new semester and a new theme GROWING.
IN THE FAITH.

1
But what is faith?

Alcira was introducing us to what Hebrews 11:1 says and explained it to us.

It means abandoning all trust in oneself, in our own strengths, in our own
resources, in our skills and reasoning; that is, in all the things we see or in what
we can support each other humanly.

Faith is trusting in things that cannot be seen, because what is seen, why hope for it? If it is already...
we are seeing; if we patiently wait for what we do not see, if we await it with certainty and
certainty in our heart, we will receive it, this is true faith;

(Mark 11:22-23).
Jesus answered them, saying: Have faith in God.
23For truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain: Be taken up and thrown into the sea, and

Do not doubt in your heart, but believe that what he says will be done, it will be done for him.

Faith in God is fully believing in Him and His promises, His provision, and His concern for us,
Knowing that, by surrendering our lives as God's possession, He Himself takes control of everything.
aspects of our lives.

ALCIRA:
How is faith defined in the Bible?
Faith is a gift from God

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
8For by grace you are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;
9not by works, so that no one may boast.

God placed faith in the heart of human beings and humans decide where to place that faith. When
we put our faith in Jesus we choose to believe that his coming to earth, his miracles and his sacrifice in
the cross was a reality and opened the door for us to receive salvation and eternal life.

Our faith begins in the depths of our heart, and we go on to speak, to share what God
has done in us. Then, as we grow in our walk with Jesus, faith is manifested
through our actions, words, and decisions.

ANTONIO:
“But without faith it is impossible to please God; for he who comes to God must believe.

that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

Hebrews 11:6

When we say that we have faith in God, we affirm that He is real in our lives and that He is the one who
it can grant our deepest wishes and dreams. This statement pleases and brings joy to the
heart of our God. This faith in him confirms that we know he has all the power to grant us
what we long for today, and also to grant us eternal life.

In His word, God assures us that there is no other God. But He does not remain in words; He goes further.

BUT WHY IS FAITH IMPORTANT?

By faith we receive forgiveness and salvation

God loved us so much that he sent his own son, Jesus, to die for us. By placing our faith in

Faith is part of the armor of the Christian; it helps us to reject doubts, to stand firm

The Bible is full of stories about how people had faith in God, and how He blessed them! Let's read about
from one of them.

There was a woman who had been very sick for a long time. She had faith and believed that
if I could simply touch the hem of Jesus, I would be healed. Then upon touching the edge of His
the cloak was instantly healed! When Jesus realized that she had touched him,
He said, 'Daughter, your faith has healed you; go in peace, your suffering is over.' (Mark 5:34)

There is another story of when Jesus helped the centurion, who was an officer in the Roman army that
he had at least 100 men under his command. He sent some to ask Jesus to heal
to one of his servants who was paralyzed and in terrible pain. So Jesus told them that he would go.

the centurion sent some friends to say to him, 'Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof. Just say
the word from where you are, and my servant will be healed. "When Jesus heard this, he marveled.
And turning to those who were following him, he said: "I tell you the truth, I have not found a faith like this
this in all Israel!” (Luke 7: 2-10)

So, guess what happened? At that very moment, the servant was healed. The centurion

It is the kind of faith that we must also have.

ALCIRA:
There are many people in the Bible who had great faith in God. Maybe you know some of them.
like:

Noah who built the ark; and he, his family and the animals were saved from the great flood.
Moses, who guided the Israelites through the Red Sea as if they were walking on dry land.
Joshua and the Israelites, who marched around Jericho for seven days, and the walls
they collapsed.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who refused to worship the golden statue and were thrown into the
fire furnace. But guess what? Jesus approached and saved them and the fire had not harmed
no power over their bodies and not even the hair on their heads had been burned; their clothes,
intact, not even the smell of fire was present.

And Daniel who continued to worship God, regardless of the order given by the king. He was
thrown into the lion's den for his faith and love for God. But once again the Lord was faithful and nothing
it happened to Daniel, even though they were fierce lions.

ANTONIO:

So let us always remember to trust in the Lord and have a lot of faith, because God loves us very much and
He/she only wants the best for us.

Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. Give thanks in everything, for this is the will of God.
