chosen as the event
branding because it
exemplifies the Filipino
spirit of bayanihan.
Background
2025 Dagyaw will continue its commitment and initiative to enhanced engagement,
accessibility, and open dialogue to further promote and mainstream Open
Government principles in sub-national level across various sectors and levels of
government, aligned with the ideas as detailed in Outcome 1 (Participatory
Governance Deepened) of Chapter 14 (Practice Good Governance and Improve
Bureaucratic Efficiency) of the Philippine Development Plan (PDP) 2023-2028.

As Dagyaw embraces innovation and fosters greater participation, local issues and
trends shall be carefully considered during the topic selection process, underscoring a
more responsive and conducive dialogue.
