recently reconnected. Mike wants to catch up and has sent you an email. Write a
letter to Mike sharing details about your current life.
Dear Giang,
I hope you're doing well. I am happy to share with you that I have just
graduated from university and am currently looking for a stable job.
In the meantime, I’ve been focusing on staying healthy by exercising daily. I
usually go for a run in the morning and enjoy the fresh air, which is a great way
to start the day full of energy.
I also continue to cook for my family, which is something I really enjoy. It is
important to me that we all eat nutritious meals and it is great to know that I am
helping my family stay healthy.
We will definitely keep in touch and I hope we can meet up soon for a proper
chat!
Best regards,
Giang
Homework Lesson 5
Dear Kay,
I'm glad to hear that Kay is interested in trying online shopping! It's a convenient way
to buy items from the comfort of your home. Here are some tips to get you started.
For your first online purchase, it's a good idea to start with something small, like a
book or an item of clothing. This will help you get used to the process without
spending too much.
When it comes to payments, most online stores accept credit/debit cards, e-wallets,
and bank transfers. Always make sure the site is secure before entering your
payment information.
If you receive the wrong item or a damaged item, contact the seller immediately.
Most platforms have a return policy, allowing you to request a refund or replacement.
Hope this helps!

I’m writing to thank you for letting me stay with your family during my stay in
Vietnam. You were very kind and helpful to me. Although you were so busy, you took
the time to show me many interesting destinations in Hanoi, such as Hoan Kiem
Lake and Hoa Lo Prison.
Vietnam is so fantastic! I love everything - the food, culture, and the people. Vietnam
has a very diverse culture and strong national identity. The people here are very
close and friendly, which is impressive to me.
I also want to invite you to visit me in England this summer. It would be great to show
you around and spend time together. I’m sure you will love the landscape here.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a final-year student in Banking Academy. I am writing this letter to complain about my
roommate at the university.
I was assigned to this room at the beginning of the course. After 2 months of living here, I
feel that my roommate is uncooperative with the members of the room. She likes to study late
at night so she turns on the bright lights, making it impossible for me to sleep. This lack of
rest is affecting my ability to focus and perform well academically.
Moreover, she does not help to clean the room and arrange things neatly, she is very messy.
Given these concerns, I would appreciate it if the teachers could arrange another room for me
so that my studies will not be affected.
I look forward to hearing from you
Yours sincerely,

You and your family have just moved to a new house. You received a letter from your
friend, Jane, asking about your new house.
Write a letter to respond to Jane. “I hope you're settling into your new house smoothly!
I've been eager to hear all about it. What does your new place look like? How many
rooms are there? And most importantly, do you like your room? I can't wait to hear all
about your new home!”
Dear Jane,
You asked about our new home, and I’m so glad to have the opportunity to share a little
about it with you. My home is truly a lovely and cozy space, giving us a sense of comfort and
peace. With two bedrooms, a spacious living room, and a small backyard which makes for
the home we’ve always wanted.
The living room, filled with natural light, is where we spend most of our time together,
watching movies, chatting, and relaxing. The small backyard offers a serene space for
gardening and enjoying the outdoors. My favorite room, however, is the bedroom, which is
filled with soft colors and natural light, creating a peaceful ambiance. I’ve started decorating
it with posters, family photos, and souvenirs, making it my personal sanctuary .
With all that in mind, I’d love to invite you to visit whenever you can. It would be wonderful
to share with you the joy we’re feeling in our new home.
