New technologies have changed the way children spend their free time. Do you think the
advantages outweigh the disadvantages

As we have advanced into a technologically-driven world, many elements of our lives, such as
education are influenced by technology. Therefore, in some schools and colleges, new
technology has significantly revolutionised teaching methods. This strategy has a number of
positive attributes, but it also has a surfeit of important drawbacks.

To begin with, flexibility appears to be the most sumptuous advantage of operating the latest
technologies in education. This is evident in two ways: first, interactive tools such as "Google
Classroom" provide teachers and students with the freedom to comprehend concepts without
mental strain. Second, it is no longer necessary for students to be physically present in class for
their courses. The COVID-19 pandemic has shown us, particularly how this adaptability could
save lives. In addition, employers, international students and professionals working can easily
work and study with the distance learning option.

However, the integration of this new technology into education has a few drawbacks. Even
though they are members of the digital native generation, not all pupils are comfortable
utilising technology. Due to their lack of technological knowledge and desire, this is a serious
problem. Thus, a piece of technology or instrument can never replace skilled educators who
know their students on an individual basis and act and instruct accordingly.

In conclusion, there are some significant advantages of technology in education, such as

permitting distance study. However, the disadvantages cannot be ignored because it can be
advantageous for some persons and discouraging for others who lack the desire and talents for
technology.
