The Muscular System

Functions of the muscles:


1.It protects several organs in our
body.
2.It supports the bones.
3.Bones cannot allow movement
without the muscles.
TYPES OF MUSCLES
1. Skeletal
are voluntary muscles
that can be

• Exercise
Regular exercise is an

stronger they become.
• Diet
Protein is important for keeping
muscles healthy because it helps
build and repair muscles. A special
diet is not needed in order to
ensure muscle health, as a well-
rounded, balanced diet will
provide sufficient nutrients.
• Water
adequate amounts of water
is vital for the health of our
muscles as well as our overall
healthy.
• Prevention Injuries
Muscular injuries are
extremely common and
can range from minor to
severe but can be
prevented by taking a few
simple precautions.
Integumentary System
Integumentary System acts as
a barrier from the outside environment.
It protects the body from harmful
organisms, temperature, and other
external factors.
INTEGUMENTARY SYSTEM

Keratin is a protein found in the outer
layer of the skin that protects the cells
and tissues underneath

Melanin is a skin pigment that


gives color to the skin and hair.
Keeping the Integumentary
System Healthy
1.Eat a balanced diet.
2.Practice proper hygiene.
3.Have enough rest.
4.Prevent products with strong
chemicals.
