Understand the mechanics of breathing. At rest, during inspiration, and during expiration, understand how airflow is
controlled by differences in pressures (atmospheric pressure, intrapulmonary pressure, intrapleural pressure).
Understand how to use a spirometer to calculate breathing measurements.
Understand how to measure relaxed breathing rate.
