25. During a sale, a shop is giving 10 % discount on every item of its purchase. A customer purchased a fan at Rs. 2025
and a dryer at Rs. 1350. Find the price of fan and dryer before the discount applied.

The population of a place increased to 54000 in 2003 at a rate of 5% per annum. Find the population in 2001.

34. A suitcase which measures 80 cm × 48 cm × 24 cm is to be covered with a tarpaulin cloth. How many metres of
tarpaulin of width 96 cm is required to cover 100 such suitcases?
OR
A road roller takes 750 revolutions to move once over to level a road. Find the area of the road if the diameter of the road
roller is 84 cm and length is 1 m.
