TASKS:

1. Kigezi City Council is desirous of disposing off Plots 20-30


Mbarara Road to Ssemugenyi Julius for a period of 49
years. Ssemugenyi intends to use the suit property for
commercial purposes by building an Arcade. He is willing
to pay a consideration of 1 Billion Uganda Shillings and a
yearly sum of 100,000,000/- (One Hundred Million
Shillings). A lease Agreement

2. Ssemugenyi Julius further informs you that he has to leave


the country for an undetermined duration but would like
the transaction above scheduled to be concluded in 5 days
(Friday 14th February 2025) to go ahead in his absence
and has entrusted his wife (Mrs Ssemugenyi Cleopatra)
with the money and wants her to represent him at the
signing. Power of Attorney

3. Ssemugenyi Julius also informs you that he desires to hire


Arch Design-Engineers & Architects Ltd to prepare the
architectural drawings and construct the new mall based
on terms of payment and construction costs to be
provided in a quotation and bill of quantities which Arch
will subsequently provide. The Contract of service
Advise Mr. Ssemugyenyi Julius on the best courses of action
and draft the relevant documents to effect the above.

Firm leaders are expected to divide their Firms into 3 Groups


(Groups 1-3) with each group handling one of the tasks (Group
1- Task 1, Group 2- Task 2 & Group 3- Task 3 respectively).
