Mid Term2

The document outlines a mid-term task for designing and simulating a closed loop buck converter in MATLAB, with specifications including a power output of 200W and input voltage of 24V. The simulation demonstrates the converter's ability to maintain stable output voltage while tracking changes in reference voltage. Key components such as resistors, capacitors, and inductors are mentioned, along with a control system represented by a PI transfer function.

MID TERM TASK

Design and simulate a closed loop buck converter in MATLAB and express the value specifications
in terms of control system

SPECIFICATIONS

Power p0 = 200w
Input vol vin = 24v
Output vol vo = 12v+200w
Load range po= 50w+200w

Simulink design:
output

you can observe here that it is exactly tracking 2.5v which we gave as reference .
By zooming:
NOW ,

Lets change reference voltage to 3

OUTPUT 2:

The output voltage is maintain and stable , and the buck converter is working smoothly as it is
tracking every given voltage

PARAMETERS

RESISTOR
CAPACITOR

TRANSFER FCN (AS PI con)

Inductor
