Trützschler TC-12 Carding Machine –
Features and Key Points
Main Features:
• High Production: Designed for up to 180 kg/hr production. Delivery speed approx. 180
meters/min, adjustable as needed.
• Chute Feed System: Ensures uniform and consistent fiber feeding. Helps in maintaining
sliver evenness and reduces variation.
• Efficient Waste Removal: Equipped with powerful suction system to remove neps, dust,
and micro dust. Uses mote knives and cleaning elements for better cleaning efficiency.
• T-GO (Trützschler Graphical Optimizer): Touchscreen control panel for real-time
monitoring and machine setting adjustments. Allows changes in speed, draft, and other
parameters.
• T-CON Earthing Separation: The T-CON system provides separate earthing for cylinder
and doffer. Reduces electrical interference and increases machine safety.
• Working Flats Technology: Up to 36 working flats. Automatic leveling and reverse rotation
system available (for better carding action).
• Flexible Carding Elements: Modular parts like cylinder, flats, doffer, and mote knives can
be easily replaced or adjusted. Precise setting between elements using micrometers and
'thou' gauges.
• Accurate Gauge Settings: All important settings (cylinder to flats, cylinder to doffer) can be
adjusted with high accuracy. Common settings: Cylinder–Flat = 6–8 thou, Cylinder–Doffer =
4–5 thou.
• Web Forming and Coiler System: High-quality sliver formation. Available coiler can sizes:
500 mm, 600 mm, and 1000 mm.
• Online Neps and Sliver Monitoring: Real-time defect detection and quality assurance. Data
available on the display for immediate corrections.
