or rotation of the sheet going to the roof and workers on the roof will carefully catch or hold the sheet and
carefully hold it down and positioned it for installation and fixing.
- Some workers will lay the roof sheet and other workers will do the drilling and fixing of screw.
- Upon laying of enough sheet (minimum of 10) showing enough space for the workers to move carefully, 1
bundle of roof sheet will lift and be put on the roof.
- One by one, roof sheet from the bundle will be taken out and will be manually
carried by workers on the roof and carefully laid it on its proper location for fixing.
- Upon finished of roof work in a day, all sheet that cannot be installed must be bring back to the ground to
avoid it to be blown away by wind which will result on accident.
●Sequence of Roof Cladding Works
- In general, start the roof sheeting at the eave and work up the roof towards the ridge, from both sides of the
building. The ridge sheet will be placed last, making sure that the end lap mastic will be placed correctly
without gaps.
- Fish lane or chalk lane marking Guide will be used to keep them straight.
- Roof cladding will start at the opposite end to the prevailing wing, or the most viewed direction so that the
sheet overlaps are not visible. A string line will be used as a guide for keeping the tail-line of the roof cladding
straightness. First line of panels will be installed and checked for their Straightness. Consecutive panels will
then be continued. A charge hand will continuously keep the check to their alignment and looks.
- Roof cladding fixing screws will be in a straight horizontal alignment.
●Sequence of Wall Cladding Works
- End wall girts will be aligned and straightened before commencement.
- Fish lane or chalk lane marking Guide will be used to keep them straight.

AMENDMENTS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
INSPECTION AND TEST PLAN
1-Door Materials
Within the industry, door panels without any framing are referred to as "slabs." Residential entry door
slabs are primarily manufactured in wood, insulated steel, and fiberglass. Vinyl entry doors are also
available, as are doors produced with other composite materials. Sliding glass doors and many hinged
glass models are also produced in vinyl and aluminum. Interior doors are most commonly made of
wood. The most common feature a hollow core and a molded door face or skin.
2-Steel-Most entry or exterior doors sold today are steel. A steel door slab features an interior and
exterior steel skin on both sides of a core made up of an insulating foam surrounded by a wood
perimeter to provide energy efficiency. Steel door slabs are produced in a variety of solid panel styles
(again, recreating the look of stile-and-rail construction). Steel door slabs often have a section cut out
and replaced with a door lite (or a decorative glass panel). Steel doors are available in stainable
versions to offer a woodgrain look.
3-Metals are so useful that we need to know more about them and the tools that are used to shape, cut,
form, and finish them. The following are the basic tools and equipment used in doing metalworks:
1. Straightedge. A steel rule used to test the flatness of a workpiece. The edge of the steel rule is
placed on the surface of a material and then held up against the light.

2. Outside caliper. This is used to measure the outside dimensions of either a flat or round stock. It
may also be used to check the parallelism of surfaces. The setting on the outside caliper may be
converted into linear units by measuring the opening with a steel rule.
3. Inside caliper. This is used to measure the diameter of holes or widths of keyways and slots. To
convert the inside caliper’s opening into linear units, use a steel rule in the same manner as that of the
outside caliper.
4. Hermaphrodite caliper. This consists of two legs, one is like that of a divider and the other one is
like the leg of an inside caliper. Hermaphrodite calipers may be used to scribe arcs or in marking
layout work.
5. Try-square. This consists of a thick beam sometimes called the stock and a thin blade set at 90°
angle. This tool is commonly used to test or “try” the accuracy of work. Many try-squares are gradated
on the blade so it may also be used as a rule.
6. Divider. This is similar in construction to calipers except that the legs are straight and terminates in
sharp points. These are used for measuring distances between points, transferring measurement
from a scale, and scribing circles and arc.s
7. Tape rule. This comes in different lengths but commonly in two meter lengths. They are useful in
measuring large dimensions such as lengths of metal bars and width of iron sheets. The flexible metal
tape rule is housed into a small metal receptacle and can be pulled out when needed.
8. Vernier caliper. This is a device which measures dimensions more accurately than most other
measuring tools and is commonly used in machine shop work.
9. Micrometer. This is used to measure very small dimensions. It may be used to determine the
thickness of a shim or the diameter of a single hair strand.
10. Layout table. This is actually made of granite or cast iron. Granites are considered better than
cast iron but are very expensive. For very simple layout work, any plain surface such as an ordinary
table top will do.
