Human Nature Of Frankenstein
Up to this day, scientists and theologians still try to figure out the meaning of life and the purpose of
humans, but what about what makes a human, what characteristics and actions define a human?
Stephen Covey states that Every human has four endowments self awareness, conscience,
independent will, and imagination. These give us the ultimate humanfreedom.....The power to
choose, to respond, to change (Stephen Covey). In the book Frankensteinby Mary Shelley, Will
Franz, the monster is essentially more human because he displays the four endowments far more
throughout the book than his creator Victor Frankenstein.
To begin with, Will Franz displays the first endowment, self awareness in a way that is relatable
to many. Upon seeing the De Laceys, Will is astonished by their presence Their grace, beauty...
but how was I terrified when I viewed myself in a transparent pool! When I became fully
convinced that I was, in reality, the monster that I am, I was filled with the bitterest sensations...
(12.13). As humans, it s easy to compare oneself to someone that is perceived to be better than
oneself and although Victor is truly human he tends to display a figure of superiority and tends to
have it all together which in reality no one does. In the quote, we see how Will upon seeing the
beautiful De Laceys instantly looks at his reflection in comparison and is immediately discouraged
at what he sees. Speaking for most people, it doesn t matter how beautiful or graceful one is
Civil War In Costa Rica
One country I would like to visit in the next couple years is Costa Rica. Costa Rica is a Central
American country situated between Panama and Nicaragua. Costa Rica is popular tourist attraction
known for its rain forest, beaches, volcanoes and pre columbian history.

Costa Rica is known for not having an army due to their belief in world peace. The war Costa Rica
was involved in was the Dominican Civil War in 1965 where they assisted their allies the
Dominican Republic in establishing a democracy. Prior to that Costa Rica was involved in its own
civil war in 1948. The Costa Rican civil war last 44 days and claimed approximately 2000 lives. The
war began when Jose Figueres with support of the United States led the Caribbean Legion in its
rebellion
Rate Laws Lab
Reaction order and rate laws are key to understanding the speed in which a reaction occurs and the
necessary amounts of each reactant in a reaction. Reaction order determines the concentration of
each reactant and can be used to calculate the amount of a substance in a reaction. The zeroth,
first, and second orders are the most common and were used in this lab. The order of a reaction
can be found by comparing the quantity of a specific substance and the rate in which the reaction
occurred. Rate laws contribute to the speed of differing reactions. This is a necessary principle in
many fields. For example, it is necessary to know the speed of a reaction that goes on during the
inflation of an airbag. Without knowing the rate law the speed could... Show more content on

HCl concluded to be zeroth order but generally reacted faster than Na2S2O3, which was first
order. The rate law for this reaction is rate=k[Na2S2O3]. Both reactions, when graphed, showed a
straight line though. The average reaction time with HCl was 44 sec (well #1), 53.1 sec (well #2),
and 61.2 sec (well #3). Resulting in a reaction rate of 0.012 sec 1 (well #1), 0.019 sec 1 (well #2),
and 0.16 sec 1 (well #3). While the average reaction time for Na2S2O3 was 33.4 sec (well #4), 81.48
sec (well #5), and 121.22 sec (well #6). Causing the reaction rate to be 0.03 sec 1 (well #4), 0.012
sec 1 (well #5), and 0.0082 sec 1 (well #6). These results are accurate and can be considered
Film Analysis Of swallowtail Butterfly
In this paper, I ll mainly focus on movie Swallowtail Butterfly (1996) and discuss it from three
perspectives: its artistic filming style and techniques, passive kokusaika and it influenced by exotic
culture. Despite some similarities with other movies, Swallowtail Butterfly is trying to set itself
apart from convention by highlighting its unique artistic value and presenting unconventional
perspective of a trendy topic. If I regard the appreciation of Swallowtail Butterfly as an evolutionary
process, the first thing I realize might be its very artistic filming style. Shunji Iwaiadopts some film
techniques which often appear in the movies of 6th generation directors. But unlike 6th
generation directors who constantly pursue realism in their movie, by the use of color, music and
composition, Shunji Iwai injects considerable artistic value into this movie and he makes use of
the artistic value to achieve an utopian vision of Yen Town. The artistic filming style and utopian
vision of Yen Town There is a series of scenes depicting their seemingly utopian life in Blue Sky
after accidentally causing the death of Suto (45:00). They are collecting reusable garbage in the
waste yard; Arrow is teaching Ageha boxing; Feihong, Glico and Ageha accidentally find a piano
in the waste yard; Ageha and Glico laugh, sing and play piano on the truck. First of all, the scene is
just so beautiful and dreamlike. Even though collecting garbage, having no stable job and no settled

the ITG mode becomes unstable when the ion temperature gradient exceeds a threshold value

Moreover, there has been a concerted effort to converge countries reporting standards. But despite
this effort substantial differences in countries reporting regulation and practices remain. This paper
explores these differences and the reasons why they exist as well as why they are likely to persist
in the foreseeable future. My analysis and comparison are conducted at a fairly high level to
emphasise that reporting regulation is a part of a country s broader institutional framework.
Throughout the paper, I give special emphasis to enforcement issues because of two related reasons.

The Top Five Online Auction Website
According to Top Ten Reviews, in 2016 the top five online auction sites are eBay, eBid, Webstore,
Online Auction and ePier.

According to Baye, Price and Squalli, in an auction, potential buyers compete for the right to own a
good, service, or, more generally, anything in value. Auctions are used to sell a variety of things,
including art, Treasury bills, furniture, real estate, oil leases, corporations, electricity and numerous
consumer goods at auction sites on the Internet. When the auctions take place, the seller interest is to
ensure that they receive the highest price for their item. As for the buyer, the main interest is the
ability to purchase an item at a lowest cost possible.

eBay

The fees that eBay could apply to you will depend of the type of seller you are, the number of items
you are selling per month, type if items and the type of auction you choose to sell your items through.

Per month eBay offers 50 item listing free of charge after which it charges 30 cents per any
additional listing. Additional charges apply if you would like to make your listing standout with
bold text, etc. Depending on the number of items that you would like to list on the monthly basis, e
Bay offers a special subscription fee for store subscribers with fees ranging from $20 200$ per
month. Supposedly this provides a better offer to those with a big monthly number of listing.

Once you sell your item through eBay, this is where the platform will make additional money. eBay
will charge 10% of any item sold (including the final price the item was sold + shipping costs). So if
you sold an item for $15 and your shipping costs come to $5, eBay will charge you 10% of the final
cost $20, and would receive $2 of your sale.

Selling Features

Being the biggest online market place out there with over 100m users, Ebay provides all the selling
features you can think of. Some of those features are:

Submit items to search engines eBay will submit your items to most popular search engines to help
gain exposure
Traffic report eBay provides information on who your visitors are, time they spend on your page,

Denise Wall THEO 202_B13 Short Essay #3 Short Essay on The Role of Women in the Church
Mary has brought a very tough predicament to the table, one that is definitely not easy to solve. I
do not know if I will be able to give her the correct advice, but I will share with her what I know.
The accepted role of women in the church has been a highly debated argument for centuries.
Acceptable roles have changed quite a few times, usually with the denomination. Even the Scriptures
can lead to different interpretations that cause the debate to continue. The debates include women
being elders or deacons, and whether or not they can be ordained and hold leadership positions in
the church. In the New Testament, the elders were wise... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I hope that I ve answered some of Mary s questions and encouraged her to be involved in her
church. Although the Scripture s may be confusing and interpretations are different, women are
seen in positions of leadership. If she keeps in mind women like Phoebe, Priscilla, and Junia she will
be fine! Word count: # 707 Bibliography Elwell, Walter A. Evangelical Dictionary of Theology.

The Lamb and The Tyger by William Blake Essay
William Blake, a unique poet of the literary canon, is one of the most critiqued poets of all time.
Having a rather unique stylistic approach to topics, especially religion, Blake seems to contradict
himself in his own writing and, therefore, sparks questions in the readers minds on specific subjects.
Two of his poems in particular have been widely critiqued and viewed in various lights. The Tyger,
written in 1774, and The Lamb, written five years later in 1789, are considered companion poems
due to their similar humanistic topic and stark differences of each other. Through the use of specific
titillation and use of rhetorical questioning, Blake sets up an ultimatum between the two poems,
creating the illusion that each creature in... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The Tyger, however, is part of the Songs of Experience collection, which revolves more around a
ruthless, ferocious (Northrop 380) world of experience that an adult would live in (Northrop
380). Whereas the Songs of Innocence are relatively light and optimistic poems (Milton), the
Songs of Experience are much darker in tone and exposing the world as seen in the Songs of
Innocence. Postulated to be unique in the fact that these two collections were the most intricate
of all of his works, Blake s artistic vision is clearly shown in The Songs of Innocence and of
Experience (Curran 256). Being from this volume of Blake s most complex works, The Lamb
and The Tyger are commonly thought of as companion poems because of the similarity and
opposition found in the two. Each of these poems, read in light of each other, seem to revolve
around the topic of religion, as many others found in this particular novel do. Leading to one of
the central themes of the piece, it could be considered that Blake s overlaying message in the
pieces were about religion. However, despite him being a Christian, albeit unconventional in his
practice (Evans), the overlaying theme of most, if not all poems in the volume revolve around
some aspect of humanity s spectrum. Thus, despite the use of theological logic in part of each
poem, the idea of religion is explored with a more rationalistic
