Case Study Of Sukuk Defaults
Methodology used in this report is explanatory research case study and qualitative research method
where data regarding the sukuk defaults and shariah issues in Sukuk Asset Based and Sukuk Asset
Backed are being collected. From these data collection, the development of theory can be focused
through an approach of case studies and this method can relate to the growing issues of sukuk
defaults. (Eisenhardt, 1989; Yin, 1994). An explanatory method is used among other qualitative
approaches in conducting a research because it can prove the real default cases that happened in
Sukuk through the reasons behind it. Besides, it also can give more meaning to this research report.
Qualitative method is easier method to be used because data regarding... Show more content on

Experiment Two: Stiffness Report from laboratory work performed on 12 May 2011 as a part of the
unit of study CIVL2201 Structural Mechanics

Abstract
This report has been written to describe an experiment performed on a channel section examining the
stiffness of the beam through two differing types of deformation curvature and deflection. The aim of
the experiment was to determine the value of the flexural rigidity (EI) in two different ways; using
the curvature, k, and the mid span deflection. The testing method used for the experiment is
described. The experiment found that the EI values calculated were as follows: EIcurv = 1.76E+10

Bending of a Channel Section

Introduction
This report aims to describe the experiment performed to investigate the stiffness of a channel
section, and in particular calculate the flexural rigidity (EI) of the beam by two different sets of
calculations based on the results gained in the experiment. The EI of an object is used
Disadvantages Of Map Reduce
Map Reduce
Introduction:
MapReduce is a simple and powerful programming model which enables development of scalable
parallel applications to process large amount of data which is scattered on a cluster of machines.
The original implementations of Map Reduce framework had some limitations which have been
faced by many research follow up work after its introduction. It is gaining a lot of attraction in both
research and industrial community as it has the capacity of processing large data. Map reduce
framework used in different applications and for different purposes.

Reason Behind Development of Map Reduce:

IT giant companies faced the problem of analysing huge sets of data (order of petabytes) E.g.

It is compared with filtering then group by aggregation query processing in a DBMS.
It is simple and easy to use the MapReduce model is simple but expressive. With MapReduce,a
programmer defines job with only Map and Reduce functions, without to web pages to satellite
imagery) and latency requirements (from backend bulk processing to real time data serving).
Independent of the storage MapReduce is basically independent from underlying storage layers. It
can work on Big Table and others. Many projects at Google store data in Big Table which have
different demands from Bigtable, in terms of data size.Bigtable has successfully provided a flexible,
high performance solution for all of these Google products such as Google Earth, Google Finance.
Fault Tolerance MapReduce is highly fault tolerant, continues working in spite of failures per
analysis job at Google.

Map Reduce is not suitable for:

Real time processing.

It s not always very easy to implement each and everything as a MapReduce program.
No high level language it does not support any high level language like SQL in DBMS and any
query optimization
Fascination With Fear In The Premature Burial By Edgar...
3.05 Fascination with Fear

PART A In the Premature Burial written by Edgar Allan Poe, he explains the frightening fear and
terror of being buried alive by using descriptive imagery to appeal to his audience which gives off
an eerie feeling. Then later on, the narrator explains his experience with fear. The theme is not letting
your fears define who you are. The entire story was based on overcoming your fears or learning to
deal with your fears. It s realizing the problem and driving yourself to fix them. In the story, the
main theme is being able to overcome your fears if you face them and don t let your fears consume
you as a whole.
PART B Fear is a feeling we ve all felt before and it s completely humane to feel that way from time
to time. Mainly, people have great fears that interfere with their daily life and it becomes a problem.
The issue with fears is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
What does the narrator suggest by using this simile and subsequent description?
The narrator describes the two different ways he wakes up from two different forms of attacks.
The first described, I remained, until the crisis of the disease restored me, suddenly, to perfect
sensation, and then I awoke slowly. Just as the day dawns to the friendless and houseless beggar
who roams the streets throughout the long desolate winter night just so tardily just so wearily just
so cheerily came back the light of the soul to me.
As the narrator experiences fear, what techniques does Poe use to create suspense for the reader?
He uses hyphens and punctuations marks in his sentences to make dramatic pauses and create

Database Management System (DBMS) Database Management System plays a vital role in most
of the real world applications that require storing and retrieving data. Database Management
Systems are the most reliable means to organize data. DBMS organizes data into collections from
which data can be searched or updated to. There are many different forms and types of DBMS
products available in the market each having their own pros and cons. The main DBMS products
that are available in today s market are Oracle 11g, Microsoft SQL Server 2012, IBM DB2 and
MySQL 5.5.

2.Microsoft SQL Server 2012:
SQL Server was originally developed in the 1980s at Sybase for UNIX systems and later ported to
Windows NT systems by Microsoft. Microsoft SQL Server has given a tough competition to other
RDBMS products in the market.
A brief analysis on SQL Server database:
SQL Server provides a collection of tools which helps in managing SQL Server development, testing,
tuning, querying and administration. The SQL Server Management Studio provides a common
platform for administering all services including SQL Server, Reporting Services etc.
SQL Server provides an integrated Query Editor with a simple graphical user interface for executing
SQL queries, formatting the queries and viewing results.
SQL Profiler is a powerful tool which allows database administrators to monitor the database activity.
SQL Server supports additional SQL relational operators such as pivot, unpivot and apply.
SQL Server execution algorithms support both sort based and hash based processing.
Parallel execution in SQL Server feeds the data to multiple processes and also manages multiple
threads, partitions and broadcasts
The Causes Of The Indo-Pakistani War Of 1947
The Indo Pakistani war of 1947 was the very first war fought between the two counties over Jammu
and Kashmir. The war began when Pakistan sent troops from Waziristan into Kashmir in order to
obtain their land. When the king of Kashmir, Hari Singh, realized what Pakistan was doing to
Kashmir, he pleaded with India for help. Tensions exploded in October 1947 when the Pathan
Muslims of Poonch rebelled against the Hindu landowners of Kashmir. On October 22, Pakistansent
troops into the region, brutally taking Muzaffarabad and Uri, burning a swath of destruction
wherever they marched, and killing Hindu civilians, ( Indo Pakistani War, 1947 1948, , n.d.). Indian
government made a legal document called the Instrument of Accession stating that they... Show more

General Yahya Khan, who was the president of Pakistan, refused to transition power to
democratically elected Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. These events sparked a massive surge of some 10
million refugees from East Pakistan Bangladesh into West Bengal, India, one of the most
impoverished districts of one of the world s poorest nations ( Indo Pakistani War, 1971, n.d.).
General Yahya Khan tried to suppress this uprising by systematically eliminating Bengali
civilians, religious minorities and armed personnel. The East Pakistanis fled in millions to India
to escape from these brutalities. India was thus introduced into the war. Pakistan sent airplanes
into Kashmir on December 3rd, 1971. This started a 12 day war between India and Pakistan in
which India had the upper hand. India now recognized Bangladesh as a country and at the same
time launched an air and ground assault on Dhaka. India now held control over Dhaka and had
captured 90,000 Pakistanis as prisoners of war. Pakistan was left with no choice but to declare a
ceasefire which ended the war between the two countries. Sheikh Mujib returned home to become
Bangladesh s first president. Pakistan officially recognized Bangladesh as a country in
Education In Horace Mann
The education system in America has a long history of struggle and change, as we have grown as
a nation we have experienced an ever increasing rise in diversity. This diversity has caused
rigidities between groups and all stratus of society and has been a major impact in debates
concerning the educational opportunities in America. On May 4, 1796 Horace Mann was born
into a poor farming family in Franklin Massachusetts. Because his family was poor, some of his
educational opportunities were limited like many other kids in rural America during this time
period. Mann s parents could only afford to educate him eight to ten weeks out of the year. He
spent most of his childhood working to help his parents with their financial issues, and therefore his
help was impaired because of the stressful labors work.Mann was educated in a one room school
house that was often in need of repair because it lacked the funding necessary for physical
maintenance in which led to less funding for academic resources. Schooling in the late eighteenth
and early nineteenth century was often irregularly managed and unorganized. However, Mann was
not only intelligent but he was a determined individual who focused to teach himself the content and
skills needed to pursue higher education. It was this impoverished background that would serve as a
framework for Mann s work and beliefs. It would be his own experiences during his upbringing that
would fuel and motivate his dedication to improve public
What Are Branches And Thies Affect The Skins Of Human Skin
The cheeks are composed of subcutaneous fat, covered with outer skin. The fat is atop the facial
muscles responsible for assisting a person for speech, the chewing of food in the mouth and
facilitating facial expressions. Moist stratified squamous epithelium line the inner layers of the
cheeks. The opening of the oral cavity is formed by the meeting of the anterior regions of the
cheeks and the posterior region of the lips. The lips are responsible for manipulating speech related
functions. One of the most easily movable organs of the human body, the lips are primarily made
up of flesh. The lips are also in charge of helping the teeth process the food, transport the food into
the mouth, and making it possible for infants to suck milk during infancy.... Show more content on

They consist of an interior lining of moist stratified squamous epithelium and an exterior covering
of skin. The substance of the cheek includes the buccinators muscle which flattens the cheek
against the teeth, and the buccal fat pad, which rounds out the profile on the side of the face. The
lips and cheeks are important in mastication and speech. They help manipulate food within the
oral cavity and hold it in place while the teeth crush or tear it. They also help form words when
we speak. A large number of the muscles of facial expression are involved in moving the cheeks
and lips. The lips are muscular structures formed mostly by the orbicularis oris muscle and
connective tissue. The outer surfaces of the lips are covered by
Trade In Captives
The document that I chose to analyze was The Trade in Captives by John Barbot. He is a
Frenchmen who became an agent of the French African companies. He also went on a voyage to
West Africa at least twice. He is mostly writing about the slave trade between the European and
West Africans. This document is aimed to anyone who wanted to know the background of the
slave trade. Also, it seemed like he might have written this to inform other Europeans on the
protocol of trading and how to trade in a fair manner. From my point of view, it seems that he is
writing about what the Europeans were giving West Africans in return for slaves. He is also
showing how little each slave was bought and worth. These slaves were sold for things that were
worth... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I think this author was quite subjective in his descriptions and also really biased in some source.
I m getting more information about the Europeans than the Africans. I feel like the author felt that
the Europeans were being cheated. With this assumption, he is trying to inform others on how to
avoid it. While his writing may be based on his own experiences, the tone seems supercilious. His
style of writing is really vague. It does not really give the reader all that they could know. This
might be based on the time period in which this was written. In the beginning of the document, they
state that he describes better than other writers of this period. I think this would better be achieved
it was more detailed from both views. What I see that he did was separate each paragraph based on
the country he is describing. This makes the writing to flow better. Lastly, this was published in A.
and J. Churchill s Collections of Voyages and Travels in 1732, which tells me that this might have
been written for the Europeans thinking about going to West Africa during the slave trade period.
This must have been one of their many guides to use as they made these
