Historical And Cultural Values Of Heritage
The second reason why the sense of nostalgia is not necessary in heritage industry is that economic
pressure in the museum can affect the authenticity of the past in the museum. With the development
of industrial heritage nowadays, heritage industry has been an essential aspect of the economic
foundation in some countries. An increasing number of precious historical places are repaired and
protected, which because not only the historical and cultural values of heritage are meaningful, but
also because visiting heritage can raise people s awareness to recognize the value of historical places
and preserve them. In order to attract more visitors, heritages are often promoted as tourist
attractions. Actually, at the same time, heritage... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The objectivity and authenticity of history about industrial heritage might be affected negatively.
In short, according to analyze the interpretation in National Coal Mining Museum for England in
Britain, it seems that a view of nostalgia is the theme of interpretation in the industrial heritage, even
in the whole society. The objects and buildings of coal industry has become industrial heritage of
coal in Britain. These are three main requirements for nostalgia. Firstly, the sense of nostalgia is
easier to appear in Western Countries because of their linear and secular sense of time. Secondly, the
glorious history such as in Industrial Revolution, Victorian Britain and the development of
deindustrialization cause the social and economic difference between the past and present, which
gives rise to a feeling of discontent and disappointment for the present generation. Last but not least,
the industrial heritage and the collections from the past are available. These three conditions can
bring about the sense of nostalgia in the museum. However, it cannot be deny is that nostalgia often
influences the authenticity and objectivity of history. First, in terms of individuals, the sense of
nostalgia might be partial recalled for the elders because they concentrate on the objects and
interpretation what they have experiences or they are interested in. For young generation, since the
history they remember is narrative by their parents,
The Niagara Escarpment Ava Is An Ideal Area For Grape Growing
Introduction

The Niagara Escarpment AVA is a relatively new viticulture designated area. The area received the
designation in 2005 and is now one of the fastest growing wine regions in New York State. This
AVA is comprised of a portion of the Niagara Escarpment landform that runs from New York State
through Canada into Wisconsin. (Fig. A) The escarpment has formed over time due to erosion of the
rock layers. The top rock layer, dolomitic limestone, is more weather resistant causing it to erode
slower and creating the escarpment landform. Fig. A
The escarpment is an ideal area for grape growing, as well as other fruits, due to the microclimate
created by the combination of the escarpment and Lake Ontario. Those growing areas that are near
the lake experience weather that is slightly moderated by the presence of the lake waters. Those that
are contained on the escarpment receive a moderated weather pattern due to the escarpments form.
The warm air trapped by the escarpment helps to provide those vineyards with a longer growing
season and protection from harsh winter freezing and spring or fall frost.
The Niagara Wine Trail is currently in a period of growth. In the last few months several new
wineries have been added to the trail and the trail has begun its expansion towards Rochester. Along
with this growth the trail has continued to increase its number of visitors. Along with local
customers the trail also sees many visitors from Canada, Rochester, Finger Lakes area,
Semihazah Watchers
In the Book of Enoch, the Watchers are the fallen angels, also referred to as the Sons of God, who
have sinned by giving false revelations and engaging into sexual relations with females. The
Watchers therefore, crossed the boundaries between the sacred and the profane, causing the creation
of the giants, Nephilim. The leaders of the Watchers who lead them into sins are Semihazah and
Azazel. Azazel was the leader of the improper revelations, of showing and telling the wrong
teachings. This is a sin because it is the providence of Godto deliver revelations, not the job of the
fallen angels. This is critical because the false revelations would make it difficult for God s
followers to follow the right path to remaining pure. Semihaza was the... Show more content on

Qumran was a settlement inhabited by the Essenes. The Essenes were a strict, isolationist,
Judaism group that believed themselves to be the right group and all other groups were wrong.
This resulted in their isolation from other groups because they were unsuccessful in convincing
other groups to live by their standards. The Essenes expected that the end was near. The
Hasmoneans can be viewed as Jewish terrorists or freedom fighters that wanted to establish a
Jewish state. They were successful in overthrowing Greek rule and establishing a Jewish state.
The Hasmoneans also claimed king and priestly roles. However, kings were only supposed to be
from the line of David and priestly roles were only to be fulfilled from the lineage of Zadok.
Therefore, the Hasmonean rule was breaking covenant rules because its rulers did not abide by
the proper lineages. The Teacher of Righteousness, who served as the official mediator of
revelation, taught that what the Hasmoneans were doing was wrong and that it would lead to the
end. The Essenes viewed themselves as the Sons of Light, representing the community and
goodness. They viewed all outsiders as the Sons of Darkness because they were believed to be
evil and demonic. The Sons of Darkness were other Jews who did not follow the same rules of the
Qumran community as well as the Romans. The Dead Sea Scrolls differ in the apocalyptic view from
Federal And State Judicial System
Around the world, courts make life changing decisions every day involving individuals embroiled
in various disputes and situations. These courts operate under either a common or civil law
framework. In the United States, the federal judicial system governs the nation and each individual
state, and each state has authority over concerns that arise in its borders. The federal and state
judicial systems use different processes to select court judges, and the judicial system hears cases
based on varying criteria.

The Two Global Judicial Frameworks

Whether a court uses common law or civil law is ultimately determined by the court s location. The
United States and most territories formerly possessed by the British Colonies practice common law,
which has roots dating back to the Middle Ages. With common law, judges hear cases and decide
what ruling best serves the public s interests. Once a judge makes a ruling, it is now a precedent
that other judges and lawyers will defer to when making future legal decisions. In common law
practice, there is not always a precedent that sets forth how a judge should handle a legal matter; the
judge decides which groups to protect, such as children or home buyers, based on what will benefit
society the most. When common court judges make a ruling, they consider how the case outcome
will affect the public. Finally, contract law is not predefined in the common law system, which often
results in extensive contract language in an effort to prepare
Bill Bojangles Robinson
Bill Bojangles Robinson Bill Bojangles Robinson, who claimed he could run backward faster than
most men could go forward, was the most famous of all African American tap dancers in the
twentieth century. Dancing upright and swinging, his light and exacting footwork brought tap up on
its toes from an earlier flat footed shuffling style, and developed the art of tap dancing to a delicate
perfection. Born Luther Robinson in Richmond, Virginia, his parents, Maria and Maxwell Robinson,
died in 1885. Young Bill was reared by his grandmother, Bedilia Robinson, who had been a slave. In
Richmond, he got the nickname Bojangles from jangler, meaning contentious, and invented the
phrase Everything s Copasetic, meaning tip top. He got... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Robinson had no doubts that he was the best at what he did, a self confidence that some took to
be arrogance and that was mixed with a sometimes brooding depression at the fact that, because
he was black, he had to wait until he was in his sixties before he could enjoy the fame and fortune
given to less talented white dancers. In fact, he appears to have been a remarkably generous man
and in addition to his massive workload, he never refused to appear at a benefit for those artists
who were less successful or ailing. It has been estimated that in one year he appeared in a
staggering 400 benefits. In 1930 Robinson had made a film, DIXIANA, but it was not until he
went to Hollywood in the middle of the decade that he made a breakthrough in this medium. He
danced in a string of popular films, including some with Shirley Temple. By 1937 Robinson was
earning $6,600 a week for his films, a strikingly high sum for a black entertainer in Hollywood at
the time. In 1943 he played his first leading role in STORMY WEATHER, an all black musical in
which he starred opposite Lena Horne. Despite being in his early seventies when he made
International Trade, Asia, Latin America Or From Any Other...
1.ABOUT INTERNATIONAL TRADE.
How is it possible that I can go to a supermarket and buy products from Africa, Asia, Latin America
or from any other country? Today, this is possible thanks to international trade.
International trade is a term referred to the exchange of goods and services across international
borders or, in other words, between different nations. In almost every country, international trade
represents a large share of the gross domestic product (GDP).
Global trade allows people to experience or consume goods and services that are not offered in their
home countries. Foreign products like food, wine, clothes, currencies, stocks, and so on can be found
on the international market. Not only products are traded across the ... Show more content on

Countries have been trading goods and services for at least, more than nine thousand years despite
the numerous issues that trading all over the world had by then. Nowadays, international trade is
recognised as one of the pillars in which global economy is based on. International trade is directly
responsible for most of the evolution and the welfare of the modern and industrialised world in
which we live.
Both goods and services are imported because of several reasons. Foreign goods can be better,
cheaper, easier to access or just more attractive than local products. Normally the need of
importing is motivated because there are no locally produced goods that can act as an alternative
product. This makes imports essential for the growth of a country. A clear example of this urge of
foreign produced goods is Japan. They lack of oil reserves and are forced to import the 100% of the
oil that they consume.

The international trade brought specialisation and labour division alongside with economic
development for trading countries as noted by Adam Smith Men are much more likely to discover
easier methods when the whole attention of their mind is directed towards that single object that
when it is dissipated among a great variety of things (The Wealth of Nations, 1776).

Matthew Arnold s Writing Of Poetry Essay
Introduction
A prominent humanist, critic, and poet of the 19th century, Matthew Arnold was a despiser of
philistinism; he was a lover and sustainer of art, intellect, spirituality, and certainly the combination
thereof in poetry. Matthew Arnold began his essay, The Study of Poetry, writing that The future of
poetry is immense, and that more and more of mankind would discover poetry as a consoler, a
sustainer of humanity, and an interpreter of life. He called his audience to conceive of it as
capable of higher uses, and called to higher destinies. Arnold, believing poetry to be of such high
value, was also very dedicated to upholding a high standard in the world of poetry. His dedication
is shown clearly through his writings as a critic, but Arnold was also a poet himself. His collection
is not very well known, and not very vast in number or range. However, in much of the poetry that
Matthew Arnold did write, he perpetuated his views regarding the high destinies of poetry through
his use of sound devices, manifestation in ideas, and his construction of themes, establishing his
works as a superior and honest Criticism of Life.
Criticism of Life

Themes and the criticism of life are presented by Matthew Arnold as a hugely important component
of poetry. In fact, it is presented as perhaps the most major factor that makes the future of poetry,
according to Arnold, so immense. Arnold describes the role of poetry and the criticism of life within
poetry, saying that The
Volumnia Character Analysis
Coriolanus difficult personality can be fully attributed to his upbringing rather than attributed to his
own inborn nature. His mother, Volumnia, raised him to develop an ambitious, prideful, arrogant,
wrathful and ruthless nature. Volumnia induced Coriolanus to develop his ruthless nature from an
early age. This is clear when she mentions to Virgilia how when yet he was tender bodied and the
only son of my womb...was pleased to let him seek danger where he was like to find fame. To a
cruel war I sent him... Hence, Volumnia raised Coriolanus to become a warrior in war rather than a
son at home. This perspective is emphasized when she refers to him as my good soldier rather than
calling him her son. Therefore, his upbringing is attributed... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Volumnia continues by saying: The breasts of Hecuba, when she did suckle Hector, looked not
lovelier than Hector s forehead when it spit forth blood... These thoughts are not typical of a
feminine figure. Volumnia s ambitious motives to gain power disregard the expectation of being a
more nurturing mother to Coriolanus. Instead of coddling Coriolanus, Volumnia lives her life
vicariously through him. This emphasizes how his upbringing results in his difficult personality.
Thus, Volumnia induces Coriolanus to develop a prideful and arrogant nature, as he feels obliged to
fulfill his mother s ambitions. After Coriolanus appealed to become Consul, Volumnia commented:
I have lived to see inherited my very wishes. This substantiates the fact that Coriolanus only desires
to gain consulship to fulfill his mother s wishes while highlighting how Coriolanus was raised to
have difficult personality. Similarly, Volumnia s influence on Coriolanus nature is reiterated when
he says you were used to load me with percepts that would make invincible the heart that conned
them. Volumnia is the only person that is able to control Coriolanus. She is able to persuade him to
alter his nature to equate what is noble to what is politically advantageous as well as to decide
against the attack of
