ASSIGNMENT GUIDELINES
 Case study (Please go through the case study which is available on the
canvas)
 Understand and analyse the case study properly, as you need to complete
all three tasks based on it.
Task 1: Presentation and Briefing Report
Instructions:
The CEO has asked you to prepare a 15-minute presentation and accompanying
briefing report for the Board of Directors “selling” your consultancy services.
You still need to pitch for the contract as the two other board members will be
involved in the decision.
Step 1: Based on the case study you need to prepare a presentation and briefing
report which would convince the board of directors and heads of the
organisation to employ HR services from you.
The presentation and report should include the following:
 Start with a concise introduction to the European Club, its history,
mission, and recent challenges.
 Clearly state the purpose of the presentation and briefing report,
emphasizing your role as an HR consultant.
 Explain the need and importance of SHRM to all the organisations.
 Emphasize how SHRM can add value to the Clubhouse by aligning HR
strategies with the overall business objectives.
 Illustrate how a strategic approach to HR can be integrated with other
departments such as Operations, Finance, and Marketing.
 Explain in brief the various SHRM services you can render to clubhouse
and the possible outcome of the services on the clubhouse growth and
development.
 Analyse the business factors of clubhouse to be considered before human
resource planning.
 Discuss the purposes of these services, ewmphasizing how they align
with the overall goals of the organization. (Examples may include talent
management, training and development, change management, and
employee engagement).
 Brief out major requirements which need to be carefully evaluated before
planning of renovation and restructure of clubhouse (Examples may
include additional training programs, communication strategies, and
employee involvement initiatives)
 Determine preliminary HR requirements for the organisation considering
the new contract.
Conclusion:
 Summarize the key points discussed in the presentation.
 Reinforce the value that your HR consultancy can bring to the
ClubHouse.
Presentation File:
 Develop a visually appealing presentation with slides.
 Speaker notes should provide additional details to support each slide.
 Presentation file (including references) with speaker notes (500 words).

Briefing Report:
 Develop a concise briefing report that mirrors the structure of the
presentation.
 The Report should not exceed 500 words (Excluding TOC, diagrams,
references and appendices).
 Use In - text citations and Bibliographies.
