Abstract There have been various cases where the processors sharing memory where one process
reads and other writes when a processor is sharing is reading requires the memory to be used by
various process but it does not create a problem when the process sharing memory are reading the
memory the problem arises when the there is write operation is conducted. The write operation
makes a change in memory which when utilized by another processor may requires use of previous
value which may be not present now giving an error which has developed for the need of
development of cache coherence which has it protocols implemented to prevent duplication,
utilization, and updating of memory values used by various process in a control processing unit.
Cache Coherence has various protocols that have been discussed are directory based, snooping,
snarfing and distributed shared memory there have been various protocols that have been implanted
in and new methods are being researched by various leading companies such as AMD, Nvidia, Intel
and have been researched for better performance and solving issues. The paper discusses the various
protocols used for implementation of cache coherence in processes.

Medicare And The Cost Enigma
MEDICARE AND THE COST ENIGMA
ISSUE/PURPOSE
Medicare is a valuable part of health insurance in the United States. Although it is a popular
program, it will face a number of financial issues and challenges in the future.
BACKGROUND
In 1965, President Lyndon Johnson created Medicare under Title XVIII of the Social Security Act in
order to provide health insurance to people aged 65 and older, without regard to income or medical
history. It also includes people under 65 with permanent disabilities, end stage renal disease
(permanent kidney failure) and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig s disease). Roughly half of
all seniors lacked medical insurance prior to 1965. As of 2015, Medicare provides health insurance to

COMPONENTS AND FUNDING OF MEDICARE:
Part A: Part A is the Hospital Insurance (HI) program that helps cover inpatient care in hospitals,
skilled nursing facilities, hospice care and home health care. In general, you do not pay a
monthly premium for Part A coverage if you or your spouse paid Medicare taxes while working.
Most beneficiaries are required to pay a deductible before Medicare coverage begins. The hospital
insurance program is financed through a payroll tax of 2.9 percent of earnings paid by employers
and their employees. Other sources include, income taxes paid on Social Security benefits and
Medicare Part A premiums from people who aren t eligible for premium free Part A. In 2015, an
estimated 55 million people were enrolled in Part A.
Part B: Part B is the Supplementary Medical Insurance (SMI) program that helps cover outpatient
care, services from doctors and other health care providers, home health care and preventive
services. The Supplementary Medical Insurance program is financed through premiums from people
enrolled, revenues, interest and other sources. In 2015, about 51 million people are enrolled in part B.
Part C: Part C is the Medical Advantage Program. This plan includes all benefits and services
covered under Part A and Part B. Part C allows beneficiaries to enroll in a private plan such as a
health maintenance organization (HMO) or a preferred provider organization (PPO). Under Part C,
Persuasive Speech On Lemon Juice
If you are looking for an easy trick to improve your life and overall health, than look no further.
Drinking lemon water first thing in the morning is a pretty simple routine to get into and will have
tremendous effects on your overall health.
Since I started this simple and surprisingly healthy habit a few years ago, I definitely noticed the
difference. Not only does the refreshing taste wake me up in the morning, it helps to kick start
digestion and finalizes my body s natural detoxification processes... And lemons are packed with
vitamin C, B, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, enzymes, antioxidants, and fibers.
According to the Ayurvedic philosophy, choices you make regarding your daily routine either build

They are great in neutralizing acids as well. Cancer loves to grow in an acidic environment.
Alkalizing your body may stop cancer cells to grow and may reduce the risk of getting cancer in the
first place.
15.Get Of Caffeine
Many people are able to get off caffeine by replacing their morning coffee by lukewarm lemon water.
It gives a similar energy boost to wake your body and boost energy as one cup of coffee would. How
To Make Lemon Water
Making lemon water is super simple. It takes less than 5 minutes of your precious morning time.
Just squeeze half a lemon in lukewarm water. If you weigh more than 150 pounds, use a whole
lemon.
Why use lukewarm (or room temperature) instead of cold or hot water to make this healing
morning drink? Well, hot or cold water takes more energy to process, so your first glass in the
morning should be lukewarm or at room temperature to slowly wake your body and kick start
digestion.
If you love the taste feel free to add more lemon water to your diet during the rest of the day, cold or
hot. It adds up to your daily water need, is less boring than plain water, and adds tons of benefits for
body and
The Revolution of Social Media
Society has over time, developed many means of communication starting with the word of mouth to
writing letters, the telephone, and now the internet. The internet has developed its own form of
communication, which is a social network. Social networks have created a way for people across
the world to communicate with each other at the same time, all in one place, thus making it the
internet the reason behind the revolution known as Social Network. Just as anything else, social
networks were not born in a day, it slowly developed into what is known in today s society. In the
70 s, Bulletin Board Systems (BBSs) and Usernets were prime communication. BBS is considered
the first site that allowed internet users to interact with each other.... Show more content on

Social media s have also been used by the government for public support, a prime example being
President Barack Obama s 2008 Campaign. In 2007, when the campaigning began, social
networks were still fresh and the government had not yet used it to their advantage. President
Obama was able to connect social networking applications to raise money, organize locally, fight
smear campaigns and get out the vote to help them topple the other candidates. It all was pretty
simple, posting updates on Facebook and tweeting reminders to vote. Through that strategy he
was able to create an enormous database of supporters and followers that Presidents before had
never experienced or had even thought to develop. With sites such as Change.Org, MyBO and
being active on Twitter President Obama has been able to utilize the social media work to his
advantage, to create a more personal association with his supports and creating more of a
connection with the people. Social networks have become the prime source of connectivity
across the world. If Facebook were a country, it would be the 3rd largest. Social networks have
brought together one in eight married couples in the United States. Facebook on its own was able
to reach 200 million users in under a year trumping, television users, radio users and internet users
by years. Yet still social media develops every day. On social media, you are able to keep up with
friends and family, find old high school friends and meet
Cambodian Genocide Essay
Cambodian Genocide Dead bodies everywhere you turn. The smell of gunpowder, filth, and death
choke your lungs. You wonder everyday whether it will be your last. All your body feels is pain;
all your heart feels is emptiness. One might think this is how life was for Jews during the Jewish
Holocaust. In reality, this is how life was for many Cambodians during the reign of Pol Potbetween
1975 and 1979. This event, known to many as the Cambodian genocide, left a profound mark on the
world around us.
In the late 70 s, nearly 2 million Cambodians died of overwork, starvation, torture, and execution in
what became known as the Cambodian genocide. A group known as the Khmer Rouge took control
of the country in April 1975. Over the course of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
People were ordered out their houses so that the Khmer Rouge could convert them into bases of
operation. Houses that weren t being used as bases were instead being used as make shift orphanages.
Besides having labor camps, Pol Pot used many prisons to get rid of many Cambodians. Out of
150 death camps spread across the country, the most famous is Tuol Sleng Prison, or S 21 as it is
more commonly referred to. There are only 7 known survivors out of an estimated 14,00 total
prisoners. The purpose for the prisons was to question and kill those that were opposed to the
Khmer Rouge. Even people from Western and European nationalities were kept as criminals.
Before being placed in cells, prisoners were photographed. They would then be tortured until a
confession could be made about whatever crime they were charged with. These confessions and
photographs were then sent to High ranking officials in the Khmer Rouge as a confirmation that
the traitors were eliminated. Those that were waiting for their time come had to endure many
horrible things. Their legs were shackled onto iron bars placed around the room. Permission from
the guards was needed to do things like adjust themselves while sleeping or even defecating into
buckets that were provided for them. Bathing was merely opening a hose on a room filled with
prisoners. Babies that were brought in were killed either by a Machete or by being thrown into
walls and trees. Those who died in the
Transformational Leadership Aspects Of Military Basic...
To fully understand the transformational leadership aspects of military basic training, one must
have a picture of what basic training is like. Most recruits are young, and are leaving home for the
first time. In the Air Force the first week of the six and a half week course is controlled chaos for
the fifty five recruits who are placed into a flight, which was a part of a larger squadron. We woke
up 4:30 am every day, saluted the flag, did physical training, showered, ate, attended classes, and
learned the ways of the Air Force. Every day was highly scheduled and full of nonstop learning. We
marched everywhere and had no free time. This was pretty much the schedule until week five,
which is known as warrior week, when recruits packed up their belongings and headed out to tent
city, where we learn to fight, survive, and teamwork. After warrior week finished we returned to our
normal dormitory and prepared for graduation.
Military basic training is not only for the development of recruits, but also transforming the recruits
into the Air Force s ideal followers. Transformational leadership in its optimal form, creates
valuable and positive change with the end goal of developing followers into leaders
(Transformational Leadership, 2016). When I went through basic training in 2006, it was a six and
a half week course which tested every part of me. Every day of basic training was mentally,
physically, and emotionally intensive. While the beginning of basic training was about
The Importance Of Teacher Quality And Promote Learning
The purpose of teacher evaluations is to ensure teacher quality and to promote learning. The
Framework for Teaching, by Charlotte Danielson, has effectively identified 4 domains reflecting the
responsibilities of teachers. The domains of teacher responsibility outlined in this evaluation tool are:
Planning and Preparation, The Classroom Environment, Instruction, and Professional
Responsibilities. Within each of the 4 domains, there are descriptive elements exemplifying the
characteristics of the domain. Teacher quality is an important factor in maintaining excellence in
educational performance within schooldistricts. Therefore, districts must determine an effective and
efficient way of evaluating new teachers and career teachers in... Show more content on

With this information, schools gain a valuable resource in teachers who can mentor or coach peers.
These accomplished teachers become an example of good teaching. Another valuable use of this
evaluation tool is that it can be used to evaluate the skills of teachers for licensing candidacy,
contract continuance, and affirmation of distinguished demonstration of teaching skills of
experienced teachers. Using the tool for training teachers to mentor or coach and to evaluate teaching
skills and responsibilities provides reliable evidence to ensure teacher quality. The ongoing use of
this evaluation tool will also provide feedback and evidence of growth in the domains of teaching
responsibilities. This compilation of evidence provides documentation of strengths and weaknesses
among teachers that can be used to determine areas needed for professional development. Teachers
will be an active part of the evaluation process as they learn and grow through communication,
reflection, and interaction with peers and supervisors. Teachers can learn about themselves through
the implementation of Teaching Framework. Learning takes place because teachers will have the
opportunity to discover a common understanding of what good teaching is, receive feedback through
interactive performance critiques.
