How The Gap Between Healthcare And Technology And Help The...
ABSTRACT
Healthcare sector is facing plethora of challenges ranging from poor infrastructure to population
explosions, large masses of population shifting from rural to urban area etc. Traditional facilities
makes user confined thus restricts user movement especially elderly people. Our goal is to increase
medical efficiency and reduce burden on healthcare infrastructure. We intend to create a prototype of
a self sufficient health monitoring system which requires low investment for development and
provide quality healthcare at the same time. For proposed system, Arduino Mega 2560 processor is
used along with various sensors and data transmission system. Sensors used are accelerometer, body
temperature, heart rate and Electrocardiogram which gives basic patient monitoring data. Attached
LCD displays various health related parameters. Interactive mobile app is developed on android
platform which displays parameters. Received data can be transmitted remotely for further analysis
also help doctors monitor overall health of their patient remotely while transmission system ensures
safety during critical times. Through our project, we want to bridge the gap between healthcare and
technology and help the masses stay fit and healthy.
INTRODUCTION
Current methods of providing medical assistance are based on person physically present in the
hospital and constantly monitor physiological parameters. Lack of number of doctors is the major
problem in most of the hospitals especially in
Witchcraft In The Middle Ages
Witchcraft was, and still is the practice of magic, especially black magic with the use of spells.
Although many people did practice witchcraft (male or female), old, poor, single or widowed
ladies were usually accused to be witches in the Middle Ages. Witchcraft in the Middle Ages was a
controversial crime that was equally punishable by poisoning. If one was accused of witchcraft, the
charges could be dropped by a relative s defence in a trial by combat, or by twelve people swearing
an oath of the accused s innocence.
Witchcraft in the Middle Ages was feared throughout Europe. Although there was no definitive proof,
magic was believed to be a creation of the devil and associated with devil worship by many people.

Black Magic had more of an acquaintance with the devil and malicious worship. If someone fell
ill of unknown causes, this was often said to be caused by witches who practised black magic.
Other harms caused to society, such as accidents, deaths, or bad luck, were also said to be caused
by Black Magic. In other words, things that had occurred for an unknown reason or reasons that no
one wanted to explain was assumed for black magic to be the cause.
The other type of magic is white magic. The source of White Magic was in Christian symbolism,
and it focused especially on nature and herbs. It was acknowledged as the good type of magic.
White magic was further used for good luck, love spells, wealth and spells for good health.
Astrology was another major part of White Magic. Alchemy, which is known as the manner of
creating potions, was a portion of White Magic as well.
Throughout the Early Middle Ages, the Christian churches did not lead witch trials. The Germanic
Council of Paderborn in 785 explicitly banned the very belief in witches, and the Holy Roman
Emperor Charlemagne later approved the law. Orthodox Eastern Christians concentrated in the
Byzantine Empire, and faith in sorcery was generally regarded as superstition. By the 9th and 10th
centuries in the Latin Christian West, belief in witchcraft had commenced being seen as heresy (to
be strongly at variance with established beliefs or

This made google to acquire many patents and patent holding companies at a higher cost to nullify
the possible threats from competitors.

However, very high bargaining power of Google due to its innovative patented products, continuous
innovations and monopoly in the industry made them to succeed in their operation.

5.Strengths Weaknesses of Google Inc.

Google has strengths such as proprietary search algorithm and thousands of patents, a distinctive
competency, innovative culture and expertise core competencies. technology and engineering
expertise, strong financial position, income growth, margins, high search share and brand awareness.

Main weaknesses of Google are depending mostly on revenue from search advertising (89%), lack
of strong share in non search segments, lack of transparency and privacy disclosure, too many high
risk ventures outside core competencies, etc.,

However, new opportunities such as increasing smartphone usage, multi device use and access to
internet, robotics, smart homes, increased use of social networking, cloud use, etc. would help

Belgian Waffles
It took my group almost two months to make a fully functioning business that would serve the
students at Cardinal Carter. Every detail was brainstormed and decided upon so that we could offer
the best product to our customers. The first step was to create a product that we believed that
students wanted and that product was Belgian Waffles. The next step was to create a business around
the product, this included the name, the slogan and every detail that you could imagine. With the
name and business idea finalized, the ultimate challenge was how to present the product to the
customer. In this day of age, the quality of a product does not matter as much as it s appearance, but
our goal was to make a quality product that looked great and also... Show more content on

The reason organization is important, is because without how are you going to be an effective
business. When you are organized, ideas are clearly stated meaning that you and the teacher know
exactly what you mean. Being organized also means that your goals are easier to achieve since
your path is already drawn out for you. Keeping receipts, managing money, storing important
documents, knowing who does what. Organization is so important, you will be marked on it
during the Market Fair. Another great lesson I learned is to bring change in low denominations
such as quarters but also bring toonies for people who have large bills. When dealing with
customers, treat them with respect and do everything in your power to convince them that they
should spend money on your product or service. Never forget to smile when talking or dealing with
customers since it makes them feel welcomed and it also displays a good image on your
Spike Lee
An auteur is a director who personal creative vision and style is expressed through films. The term
auteur is originated in France and is French for author. There are different ways in which a director
can express their vision in films and show who they are. There are many directors that are
considered to be a auteur such as: Quentin Tarintino, Tim Burton, Kathryn Bigelow, Stanley Kubrick
and Woody Allen. The director I have chosen as an auteur is Spike Lee.
Lee s Life:

Spike is also a successful music director and documentarian. He has directed music videos for
celebrities such as Michael Jackson, Naughty by Nature, Anita Baker and Public Enemy. He has
also directed the documentaries, Jim Brown: All American and 4 Little Girls which was nominated
Best Documentary . He is also known for making some great commercials for Nike, Converse,
Jaguar, Taco Bell and Ben Jerry s.

His Personal Style:

Themes:
Spike is no stranger to controversy due to the elements he uses in his films. Most of Lee s films
consist of an African American theme and inspect the issues of race relations, political issues,
urban crime and violence. His 2nd film he made Do the Right Thing (1989) explored all of these
issues. He also explored the issues of family/father relationships in his films Crooklyn (1994), Get
on the Bus (1996) and He Got Game (1998). In his films School Daze (1988), Do The Right Thing
(1989), Jungle Fever (1991), Get on the Bus (1996), Summer of Sam (1999) and Bamboozled
(2000) he included the issues circulating around racism. Another issue he explores is black female
sexuality which is in the films She s Gotta Have It (1986), Girl 6 (1996) and She Hates Me (2004).

Genre:
Whenever it comes to genre Spike always picks the right one. He switches them around so
sometimes his films will be a comedy, sometimes it will be a romantic comedy (a hybrid genre) or a
drama. Spike never seems to
In Harm s Way Summary
In the book, In Harm s Way, by Doug Stanton the setting starts off in Litchfield, Connecticut, on
Winvian Farm. The farm is described as being in rich horse country . It is the home of Captain
Charles Butler McVay III. However, the majority of the book is set in late World War II, and the
setting centers around the USS Indianapolis. For short she is referred to as the Indy. The ship is
133 feet tall, and 610 feet long, with a top speed of 32.75 knots, and 3 4 inch armor plating. The
ship is a battle cruiser. Amongst other things it has 2 radio rooms, 4 boiler rooms, and an airplane
hangar. Towards the middle of the book the setting is the Pacific Ocean. The oceans waters are full
of sharks and debris from the sunken ship. The main characters... Show more content on

He is an experienced commander whom the crew holds in high regard. Dr. Haynes is one of the
oldest men on the ship, and is experienced as well. He serves on board as the doctor and is close
friends with the priest, Father Conway. Private McCoy is in his 13th month of service, and treats
his job seriously. The problem in the book is the torpedoing of the Indy, and the struggle of its
surviving crew to remain alive. They all face many challenges as they drift in the ocean. One
important event in the book is when the conflict between two high ranking admirals is revealed.
Each admiral is trying to control the U.S navy, and in that conflict, important information can be
missed. That is major foreshadowing, as it is later revealed one of the reasons for the long
response to the failure of the Indy to arrive where it was needed was the disarray caused by the two
admirals. Another important event is the torpedoing of the Indy. It is important because it is the start
of all the conflict and danger. The ship is taking damage, listing, and people are falling overboard
without life vests. They crew struggles and many crewman are confused and desperate to survive.
Furthermore, another important event is when the survivors begin to turn on
A Hectic Journey in Their Eyes Were Watching God was...
Their Eyes Were Watching God was written by Zora Neale Hurston and published in 1937.
Hurston s book guides us through character Janie Crawford s hectic journey while taking place in
the 1900s. The story starts out with Janie, a middle aged black woman, returning to her hometown
in Eatonville, Florida. Her surprise visit gets the town talking. They wonder where she had gone,
what she was doing, and why she was gone so long. Janie s friend, Pheoby Watson, visits Janie to
find out what happened. The conversation that they share frames the rest of the entire book.

Janie begins her story explaining that her grandmother raised her because her own mother ran
off. Janie s grandmother worked as a nanny for a white family, so Janie grew up around that
family. She was so used to being around white people that she actually believed that she was a
white girl. Janie s grandmother was devoted to making Janie happy and safe. She had the desire
to marry Janie off right away, because she knew that a good man could provide the security that
she could no longer provide if something happened to her. A farmer, named Logan Killicks, was
the perfect guy that Janie s grandmother had in mind for her to marry. Janie resists the need to get
married, but she does it for her grandmother. She feels absolutely miserable living with Logan
Killicks. He didn t provide a sense of love that Janie felt she needed, but her grandmother argued that
the love will come naturally and in time. Soon after Janie
Influenza A Virus
Every fall season, more than 1 billion Americans contract colds which lead to the overcrowding
emergency rooms, doctor offices and urgent care visits. Most of them present similar symptoms of
upper respiratory tract (URT) infections which affects the air passage in the nose, ears and throat.
Among them, 5 to 20 percents of these symptoms are contracted by influenza, commonly called the
flu (11). According to the Center of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), flu diseases are
episodic and can be acute which has claimed 3000 to 49000 lives from 1976 to 2006 although there
have been no findings on a mortality report due to the common cold (11). Although the common cold
and flu share a lot of common characteristics, but their complications... Show more content on

However, flu is caused by a different set of viruses than common cold viruses. The three main types
of viruses often found during the flu season are Influenza A, B and C. Influenza A viruses are the
most common; they are the super bug viruses that infects illnesses in both human and animals. It
contains larger members than type B and C viruses. Type A influenza is divided into subtypes such
as H1N 1 (Swine flu pig flu), avian influenza (H5N 1 bird flu) and H3 N2 (most common flu
infection). In short, the H (hemagglutinin) and N (neuraminidase) are the two protein substances
found on the surface of the viruses (9). Therefore, flu exhibit a distinct set of symptoms that
healthcare professionals are able to differentiate from common cold illness. Moreover, like
common cold they are assigned an acronym F.A.C.T.S. to pin point flu illnesses in the diagnosis
protocol. F stands for fever; it usually runs higher than100 degree Fahrenheit (38 degree Celsius).
In children, if the temperature rises over 103 degree Fahrenheit for more than two days,
healthcare officials recommend a visit to Emergency Room in order to prevent the meningitis or
brain damage. A is for aches; the flu illness is always present with muscle aches all over body. In
most cases, it is severe enough to limit an individual from normal activity and bed confinement. C
is for chills; shriveling colds that make it unable to warm up. T is for tiredness; it usually ranges
from moderate to severe dependence. S is for symptom onset; flu onset is very sudden. It comes
down rather quickly, within 3 to 6 hours, in comparison to common colds which gradually develops
over period of day(s) (3, 5, 6, 7, 8). The key components distinguish flu from common cold are the
sudden onset symptoms, shriveling cold and allover muscle
God Will Find A Way Of God
No matter what path one chooses to follow in life, God will find a way to inflict punishment. One
can disobey his words as Adam and Eve choose to, commit actions whilom forbidden and in turn
taint mankind, or one can be as devout as Job and have one s entire family slain in the name of a
challenge posed by Satan. One might as well disregard the idea of Godin itself if one is to find naught
but chastisement in his or her lifetime. In Hebrew, ‫( יהוה‬HVH), oft later translated to YHVH and
eventually Yahweh, can be rendered into plethora of things. I am that I am; I am who I am; I will
be who I will be; I am; I will be. HYH means to become in Hebrew; become is futural and suggests
becoming (Brandes FYP Lecture). This is mind, one must think of God as transcendent, above
the natural world contrary to the Mesopotamian s view of the gods. If the Hebrew God is
becoming, how can we as humans, beings on this Earth who are unable to see his face (Exodus
33:20), comprehend his nature? God is an entity who is familiar with naught but ascendency. God
said, Let there be light ; and there was light (Genesis 1:3) and thusly lays down the law of the
land; God is the law (Burke FYP tutorial), what he says gets done. He commands, he does not ask
(Genesis 1:2; Exodus 3:13). He is not to be disputed with, as further shown in Genesis when he
states:
I will greatly multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring fourth children [...] and to

Compare And Contrast Essay Lebroon James Vs Stephen Curry
LeBron James plays the small forward position and stands at 6 foot 8 and weighs 250 lbs, and
Stephen Curry plays the point guard position and stands at 6 foot 3 and weighs 190 lbs. LeBron
James has played 13 season and Stephen Curry has played 7 seasons. Obviously LeBron James
stats are going to be higher for the most part because he has played longer, but I want to compare
and project who is going to be better at the end of their careers and who s better now. Granted, both
players play different position so they have to be judged on if they are better players overall.
Although, both players are very qualified, one has to be better and that can be determined by aspects
such as: offensive performance, defensive performance, championships and... Show more content on

Through nine seasons Lebron James has has averaged 27.20 points per game and in his career he
has 26,338 which is 18th most of all time. Stephen Curry through 6 seasons has averaged 21.90
points per game and in his career he has 10,257 which is 343rd most of all time. Right now it is
very hard to argue whether Lebron is a better shooter than Stephen curry, but you can argue what
if they were better at one time. In 2006 LeBron James averaged 31.4 points per game and in 2016
Stephen Curry averaged 29.7 points per game. Although when it comes to 3 point shooting
LeBron has never shot as well as curry on average; Stephen Curry currently has a .443 3 point
shooting percentage over his career in the regular season while LeBron shoots .339 from three. In
addition Curry also has a better free throw shooting percentage at .901 compared to LeBron s .744
free throw shooting percentage. Although both players n field goal percentage are nearly the same
LeBrons percentage is .497 while Currys field goal percentage is .475 slightly below
Albert Bandura Girls And Social Learning Theory Of Aggression
Let s shift our focus to what Albert Bandura mainly studied, aggression. Specifically, females. The
article Girls and physical aggression: Causes, trends, and intervention guided by Social Learning
Theory explores females becoming the perpetrators of physical aggression (Snethen, Puymbroeck
2008). They apply the Social Learning Theoryof Aggressionas their basis to examine the growing
occurrences of violence in females, society and popular culture. They propose that females taking
part in physical aggression is becoming very common, they claim it may be due to environmental
changes (Snethen, Puymbroeck 2008). Females are defenseless from a variety of sources, such as
the media, family and the community. Nonetheless, according to Bandura s SLT exposure only
provides the knowledge and increased acceptance of physical aggression (Snethen, Puymbroeck
2008). For the aggressiveness to be triggered the individual must get emotionally affected, which
leads them to want to gain status and power. Hence, aggression will only be ongoing if there is a
reinforcement (Snethen, Puymbroeck 2008). The three main types of reinforcements are direct,
vicarious, and self reinforcement. To effectively help females, the researchers came up with two
solutions, one being that the entire community should help prevent aggressive behavior in females.
Secondly, since prevention will not aid those now affected girls they suggest planning an
implementation of treatment specifically for
