Letter #1
Write a letter to your mother who is worried about your health.
Examination Hall,
City A.B.C.
May, 2019
Dear Mother,
Assalam-o-Alaikum!
I received your letter a few days back. From your latest letter, I came to know that you are
sickly worried about my health since my return from home. I am glad to know that you are fine. I am
sorry that it has taken me so long to write you. I did not mean to, the pressure of work was so great
that I could not find time to write to you earlier.
A few days ago I had a temperature due to bad throat. I have come out of these relapses with
your kind prayers. I did not attend my school for a week. You need not to worry because it is a
temporary aliment. I am perfectly alright now. I am following my routine well.
The school doctor checked me daily and gave me medicines. Thanks to his treatment, I am
not running any temperature now but I suffer debility which is the main spring of all diseases. He
also advised me to take complete bed rest for a couple of days. Dear Mother, you will be pleased to
know that I am taking a good care of my diet and health. I am taking complete rest because exertion
is bad for me. I am glad that I have turned the corner and I am recovering day by day. I hope that this
assurance will calm you down and you will stop worrying about me. Now there is nothing more to
right about it. I miss you badly. I shall be soon with you.
With great regards,
Yours affectionately,

Letter #2
Write a letter to father asking him the health of your mother.
Examination Hall,
City A.B.C.
May, 2019
Dear Father,
Assalam-o-Alaikum!
From Ali’s letter I have come to know that mother has not been well. He informed me that
she was suffering from high blood pressure. These relapses will surely make her weak and feeble. I
was really shocked and worried to hear about her. Why did you not inform me? Ever since I have got
this sad news, I have lost all peace of mind. It pained me much. She is already weak enough. You are
requested never to delay to inform me about mother’s health.
Father, I request you to get her checked by some specialists, and request her to follow the
doctor’s advice strictly. Do ask her to take her medicine regularly and take complete bed rest. She
should take care of her diet and should have light morning and evening walk daily , so that she may
not suffer from debility which is the main root of all diseases. Do not let her move or work because I
know she likes to be as busy as a bee. Mother is the special gift of Allah Almighty and we must care
and look after this precious gift. It is our moral duty to look after her and brings comforts to her. I
will be also soon there to serve here.
May she recover soon! Ameen! Please also inform me about her present condition by the
return post. Anxiously waiting for your reply. Salam to all at home.
With best wishes,
Yours affectionately,
X.Y.Z.
