Subject: Reply to Legal Notice Dated 19.05.2025

Dear Madam,
Under the instructions and authority of my client, Mrs.
Priyanka Singh, legally wedded wife of your client, I hereby respond
to your legal notice dated 19.05.2025 as follows.

1) It is admitted that my client and your client were married on

22nd January 2024 according to Hindu rites and customs.

2) All other averments, allegations and claims made in your notice

dated 19.05.2025 are false, baseless and vehemently denied.
The notice appears to have sent with malicious intent to harass
and pressurise my client

3) Contrary to the claims made in your notice, it is your client
and his family members who subjected my client to mental,
emotional, and physical cruelty. From the very beginning of
the marriage, my client was harassed and ill-treated by your
client, his mother, and his sister.

4) On multiple occasion, your client physically assaulted my client,

and also made public threats of divorce and abandonment, caus-
ing irreparable emotional damage.

5) That on numerous occasions, your client has emotionally black-

mailed my client by threatening to commit suicide if she did not
comply with his or his family’s unreasonable demands. These re-
peated threats were made with the sole intention to manipulate,
control, and instill fear in my client, causing her severe mental
distress. Such conduct amounts to emotional abuse and mental
cruelty, and is a matter of serious concern, both legally and
morally.

6) Your client and his family members consistently interfered with

my client’s independence and went so far as to coerce her to re-
sign from her job, intending to make her financially dependent.
She was regularly subjected to taunts, humiliation, and dowry-re-
lated demands, which are not only immoral but punishable under
Sections 498A and 406 of the Indian Penal Code, and the Dowry
Prohibition Act, 1961.

7) Accordingly, my client reserves all her legal rights and remedies,

including but not limited to filing a case under Section 498A IPC,
and/or initiating independent divorce proceedings before the
competent Family Court.

8) I am open to resolving the matter amicably, if possible, through
mutual discussion and without malice. I am also open to explor-
ing mediation/counselling as provided under Section 9 of the
Family Courts Act, 1984, in case your client is genuinely inter-
ested in an amicable solution.

9) That inspite of such in-human attitude towards my Client, she re-

mains silent that one day everything will be normal, but day to
day several unlawful demands for more dowry from your Client’s
side as well as from their family members and they continuously
insulted, belittled, and mentally tortured to my Client to fulfil
their illegal demands and many occasion your Client also threat-
ening in public to give divorce to my Client.
That accordingly, my Client is also interested to
dissolve the marriage amicably, I intimate you that, please ar-
range a neutral venue for the convenience of both the family
members regarding settlement of aforesaid issues as soon as
possible. I further intimate you that on this back ground, no case
what so ever can be instituted against my Client and in case it so
happens, your Client shall be liable to be prosecuted as per law.
Hence Please Note,

Thanking You,
Yours faithfully
