LEGAL NOTICE

Chennai-600 012.

Sir,

Under the instructions from and behalf of my client Mrs. Karpoorikha D/O Mr.
Ravikumar aged about 22 years and residing at No 573 , 26th block, Ayothiya nagar,
Triplicane , Chennai-600005 I do hereby serve you with the following notice, the
contents of which are set forth herein below:-

1. That you were married to my client on 27/01/2021 at Vyasarpadi Sharma Nagar


according to Hindu rites and ceremonies in the presence of friends, relatives and
family members of both the parties and the said Marriage is a love marriage.

2. That after the marriage you and my client lived together as husband and wife and
cohabited with each other And out of the said wedlock of my said client and you
one son named Prathvik aged 2.5 years, was born.
3. That at the time of solemnization of this marriage the parents of my client had
given several valuable articles (14 pounds gold jewelry, 1 kg silver articles) as
dowry to you. My client always fulfilled your demands time to time. At the time of
marriage, you were behaving in a good manner to my client. After few months you
started adopting cruelties mentally as well as physical upon my client and
whenever my client tried to mend your ways, then you and your other family
members including your mother mercilessly beat my client.

4. That your attitude towards my client was very rude and indifferent. My Client is
from Marginalized community and you have continuously discriminated my client
and her family using the name of her caste which has caused her a huge mental
breakdown. Your mother always taunted my client and said if she was interested to
live in the matrimonial house then she would have to bear all the atrocities and
cruelties. Your Father and Brother has used unparlimentary words to scold my
client and her family.

5. That my client was of the opinion that after the birth of children you will improve
your acts and behavior but you did not do so and you and your mother always
abused, insulted, maltreated and misbehaved my client. Your mother sent my
client back to her paternal house time to time from her matrimonial house.

6. That on 06/05/2024 you turned out my client from her matrimonial house. Since
then you and your mother are blackmailing my client and her family members.
You and your family members threatened my client and her family members. You
have refused to return the few dowry articles and jewelry of my said client. You
have deserted my said client and hence my client is not interested to live with you.
My client is also not interested to give you the custody of the minor child. If my
client would join your company then you would cause her death hence my client
wants to dissolve her marriage immediately.
7. That my client is unable to maintain herself and the minor child and in an utter
state of poverty she is asking or maintenance under Section 125 of Cr.P.C

I, therefore, call upon you through this legal notice to execute Divorce under Section
13B of the The Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 within a period of 15 days from the date of
receipt of this legal notice, failing which my client shall be constrained to file
appropriate proceedings against you in the court of law and in that event you shall be
responsible for all costs, risks and responsibilities which you please note well.

A copy of this legal notice is retained in my office for record and further necessary
action.
