Narrative Report on Classroom Observation

Without a doubt, classroom observation is an important part of


teaching. It ensures that teachers are providing a satisfactory learning
experience and lessons that are appropriate to the level of the student. . It
should also check that teaching is centered on each and every pupil and
that nobody is being left behind in the class. It identifies the weaknesses
which can be shored up with adjustments and training.
All the faculty of Nalsian Elementary School was observed by the
School Head, Dr. Sherlita F. Baratang. The 1 st classroom observation was
conducted on March-April, 2023 while the 2 nd classroom observation was
conducted on May-June, 2023. All the teachers had shown great
performance and mastery of their lessons. It was seen how they were able
to use different strategies that will cater the needs of their students.
Classroom observation is an essential part of teaching. It checks and
adjusts a teacher’s performance meaning that students get the most out
of their lessons, improving their academic performance and, thus
improving the overall performance of the school.
