Advance of Travelling Allowance is not payable in the case of a journey of the

To attend a departmental inquiry outside the HQRS.
Transfer of a Government Servant from one station to another
In case of a journey performed after retirement for settling down in a station
other than the last station of duty .
For a journey performed by the family of Government Servant who dies while in
service, for settling down at a place other than the last station of duty.
Travelling Allowance may be paid to a Government Servant for a journey
performed by him to
Procure a health Certificate on first appointment to Government Service.
Appear before a medical committee for obtaining a certificate of fitness to return
to duty.
Obtain a medical certificate from a Government medical officer
Obtain a second medical opinion in support of an application for an extension of
leave.
