7. How do I save my progress on Microsoft Learn activities?
No technical connection exists between Microsoft Learn activities and the LMS. This is why
we do not ask you to sign into Microsoft Learn. Instead, we save your progress by recording
when you select the Mark as complete button in the LMS after completing an activity. Here
are the steps to follow.

1. When you select an activity in the LMS learning plan, notice that the Mark as
complete button is inactive:
2. Select the bright blue Go to Activity URL button, which takes you to Microsoft
Learn in a new browser tab. Read/Work through the steps in MS learn and once
complete, go back to the LMS browser tab, and notice that the Mark as complete
button has become active. Notice that the newly active Mark as complete button is
not as bright as the Go to Activity URL button.

3. Also note that this is a time-sensitive process: if too much time elapses from when
you complete the Microsoft Learn activity and when you return to the LMS tab, the
Mark as complete button will be grayed out again, and you’ll have to return to the
activity and page through it again.
4. Knowledge checks in the Microsoft Learn activities are optional. If you complete the
knowledge check and see the Congratulations screen below, we recommend that
you select the x in the top right corner to close this window and return to the LMS tab
when you complete a module. Do not sign into Microsoft Learn or choose any of the
other options.

8. How to connect to OneDrive for Business from Power Apps?

Please refer to the detailed instructions here.

9. How to connect to SharePoint from Power Apps?

Please refer to the detailed instructions here.

10. Office 365 Outlook connector does not accept the learner email
address to send emails as part of the flow. What is the solution?
Your Power Up Program developer environment doesn't include Outlook and you will not be
able to use Office 365 Outlook connector to send emails as part of the Power Automate
flow. However, you can use any personal email account you create using Outlook, Gmail,
Hotmail, or other email addresses to establish a connection in Power Automate.
11. Few of the activity modules in Microsoft Learn ask me to use a
virtual machine (VM). Can I use my developer environment
instead?
Yes! Please use your developer environment instead of a VM.

12. What do I do if I am blocked/have questions on a learning module?

If you become blocked in a specific module, we recommend posting your product related
questions on the product discussion boards for the respective product you are working
through for a faster response. It would be good to include the screenshots as well for
better troubleshooting.
If you have already posted in the product discussion board and not getting any response,
please send an email to mailto:powerup-support@microsoft.com and share the LMS post
URL from the product discussion board.

While waiting for a response, you can go ahead to the next topic.

You could also join the live Q&A session for the week you are working through to ask your
questions to get you unblocked.

13. When I try to play videos on the LMS, I get an error. How can I fix it?
This error occurs when the system date and settings are not correctly set in Windows.
Review How to set your time and time zone - Microsoft Support to fix this error so you can
play videos.

14. How do I submit my final app challenge video?

Note: The process below may change. We will update this document with the new process
as soon as we have an update.

Please click on the final app challenge course module title and it will take you to a
different page where you can view all instances.
Please select the instance based on your last name and when you come back to the
earlier screen, please select the blue “Enroll” button.

After enrolling to the new instance, please upload your video and once you successfully
upload the final app challenge video, you will see “Submission Awaiting Approval” status
next to your name in LMS. This means that your upload was successful, and Champs are
reviewing it for grading, there is no further action needed from your end. Once the review &
grading is over, you will get the result in an email and in your LMS notification.

It takes approximately 2 weeks after the final app challenge due date to release the
graduation results.
15. How do I view my score and comments for my final app challenge
video?
You will receive an email from us once you successfully complete and submit the final app
challenge video in Learning Management System. Usually, the grading will be complete
approximately two weeks after the final app challenge video submission deadline.
Currently, we are in the process of making it easier for the learners to submit the final app
challenge video on the Power Up program hub page and to display the result/comments
there. Once the new functionality is available, we will update this section with the new
instructions. Stay tuned.

16. Graduation voucher

Power Up Program is designed to create awareness and provide hands-on learning
experience with various components with the low-code Microsoft Power Platform for a
non-technical citizen developer or an enterprise maker persona.

grasp of various technology areas and the amount of practice with implementing real-
business scenarios.

be used for all other Power Platform certification exams such as PL100 (fundamentals),
