Learning Partner FAQ
There will now be two (2) URLs for the student; What does this mean?
The first URL is the Learner Course URL, which is static for a Learning Partner’s location and course. The
use of this URL provides access to the course page for the Learners material. The Learner will not need to
sign in to access the course material, however, we recommend encouraging the Learner to sign in to
maximize their experience.
The second URL is the Achievement Code URL and will represent 'Completion' of the ILT experience. The
redemption of this code against a Learner profile will trigger the KPIs for the Learning Partner and will add
an achievement to the Learner's Profile. The Learner will need to sign in to redeem this code.
For support resources on the URLs mentioned above, please utilize our Readiness Kit found here
Is the URL provisioning generated manually per course?
Initially it will be manual process for both URL creations. We are currently gathering feedback to improve
the process and experience.
What if I created a URL incorrectly?
If you notice your course access URL is incorrect, you can create a new URL and provide a corrected URL
to your learners anytime.
If you notice your achievement code URL is incorrect, you can create a new correct URL and send out a
corrected URL at any time. A learner can only redeem one achievement code per course. If they
redeemed the Achievement code with an incorrect URL, they would get an error when trying to redeem
the code with a corrected URL.

Is the new MOC experience exclusive for Learning Partners, or is this content open to the
public as well?
All content on Microsoft Learn is available to everyone, for no charge. Our corporate mission is to
empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. Free content aligns to this
mission.
There are provisions to maintain an exclusive value for Microsoft Certified Trainers and Learning Partners.
To support this, Trainer materials will require a valid MCT sign-in from the Learning Download Center.
Only Learning Partners can request the Achievement Code URL for Learners once they are enrolled to the
Microsoft Learn Program
How far in advance can Learning Partners create both URLs?
The URLs for Learner Course access and Achievement Codes can be created at any time.
Does the Achievement Code URL provided to Learners expire?
There is no expiration for Achievement Code URLs.
The request Achievement Code button is not available, what are my next steps?
Learning Partners will need to enroll in a Microsoft Learn account to get access to the Achievement
request functionality. Once approved, you can request Achievement Codes for your Learners.
Full Enrollment Guide, with appropriate troubleshooting, can be found here
As a Learning Partner, we tried to test the Achievement Code URL, but we noticed that
dozens of badges were added to our Microsoft Learn profile. Why is that?
As a Learner progresses through the course, individual badges will be given for each module completed.
Once the Learner redeems the Achievement Code URL, a course specific badge will be added to their
profile.
The achievement page on the Learner profile is being redesigned and will be available in a few months.
Will Learning Partner KPI’s be measured by accessing or activating the course materials?
Accessing the Learner Course URL is not part of the Learning Partner program KPI’s. The program KPI’s
will be earned when Achievement Codes are redeemed by Learners. In addition, KPI’s are earned by exam
purchases and MTM survey response counts and quality ratings.
