This worksheet focuses on four types of figurative language: similes, metaphors,
personification, and alliteration.

1. Similes
Definition: A simile compares two different things using the words *like* or *as*.

Examples:
- She is as brave as a lion.
- His smile was like sunshine.

A. Underline the simile in each sentence:

2. Metaphors
