BABY BUNNY

Pattern and tutorial

What you need:
COTTON OR LINEN FABRIC: You can use scraps, or an old piece
of clothes. (Try to avoid stretchy materials.) I used linen for the
head, and floral cotton for the body and ears.
CHOPSTICK (or a specific tool) FOR STUFFING
TOY FILLING
EMBROIDERY THREAD AND NEEDLE
SCISSORS

METHOD:
1. Print and cut the pattern pieces.
If you don’t have a printer, trace it directly from your laptop or tablet, by placing a
paper on the top of the device.

2. Cut the fabrics, 2 of the head, 2 of the body, and 4 of the ears.
3. Sew the ears. Attach 2 pieces right sides facing, sew them
around, leaving the bottom part open. Turn them inside out
with the help of a chopstick.

5. Open them, and hem the
neckline on the right side.

6. Place down one of the

head/body piece, right side
facing you. Fold the ears and
place them to the top of the
head, facing down.
7. Take the second piece of the I I
head/body parts, and place right
sides together on the first piece, clip
or pin it to secure, and sew around,
leaving a gap at the bottom.
8. Turn it inside out through the gap at the bottom.
9. Stuff the bunny, and close the gap by hand sewing, using
ladder stitch.
10. Draw and embroider the face. You can do this at the
beginning, but I prefer it after the head is stuffed, so I
can see the final shape.

I hope you’ll have fun making this bunny!

I created this pattern for beginners, but if you are an expert, you can
add arms and legs :-)

The tutorial sounds more complicated than it is! I recommend watching

my relevant reel videos, so each step will make more sense, especially, if
you’re a beginner.
