The History of Tea


Tea has been consumed for centuries and has played an important role in many cultures.
Originating in China, tea spread to Japan, India, and eventually Europe. In Britain, tea
became a national obsession, especially in the 18th century.
There are several types of tea, including black, green, white, and oolong. Each type
undergoes a different process of oxidation. Green tea is considered healthy due to its high
level of antioxidants.
