INTERVIEW
PREPARATION GUIDE

Research the Company

First things first, research the company. Search through

their website, find them on LinkedIn and see what
they've posted lately. Focus on WHO they are, WHAT
their vision is, WHO runs the company. *Find something
that about them that resonates with you!

Study the Job Description

Always go through the job description to understand what

experience & skills they are looking for. Identify what
aspects you are confident in, and which you are working
on...and HOW you are working on it.

Practise Common Interview Questions

Head over to Get Corporate Ready YouTube channel and

go through what the common interview questions are.
Practise your responses in the mirror...talk
through your answers and trust that you'll remember.

Have questions to ask interviewer

Always prepare at least 2/3 questions to ask the

[Link] something that will help you
understand the company more intimately. "What is the
culture like? or What does a typical day-to-day look like in
this role? or What do you love about working here? "
INTERVIEW
PREPARATION GUIDE
Dress to Impress

Make sure you dress formally for your interview. Keeping

the colours largely neutral with a splash of personality is
always welcome. Make sure your clothes are ironed, that
you are well groomed (hair nails, beard) and make sure to
SMILE!

Arrive 15 minutes early

The worst thing you can do is arrive late for an

interview. Always plan to get there early so that you can
relax, breathe and centre yourself. Punctuality is a sign
of good time management.

Study your CV

Make sure that you know what you've put in your CV.
Remind yourself of the dates, achievements and
different work places you've worked at. So that you
don't fumble on easy questions.

Be confident in yourself

I always believe that once you have followed all the steps
up until now, that you have every right to be confident in
how you will show up! Confidence comes from KNOWING
that you have prepared and are
ready! So breathe, and go in as your BEST Self.

PREPARATION GUIDE

Follow up after the interview

After the interview, its always a nice gesture to send an
email to the panel to thank them for their time, and
inviting you for the interview. Tell them that you
enjoyed getting to know more about the company and
that you are looking forward to their response.

Believe that you did your best

It's common to leave an interview and immediately start

feeling like you could have and should have answered
certain questions better...STOP! You did your BEST...give
yourself a pat on the back for preparing and showing up!

Don't get into the habit of criticising yourself, practise

positive self-talk, and feel encouraged that you are one
step closer to your dream job!!
