DL30 User Manual

Wurkkos DL30 is a professional, bright diving flashlight, both powerful and

IPX-8 water resistant. It is powered by a single 21700 li-ion rechargeable
battery and comes with an adjustable lanyard. It is also compatible to
18650 batteries. Simple one hand operation via a magnetic control ring
guarantees super easy handling both above and below the waterline.
Moreover, DL30’s simplified user interface with three brightness modes
enables quick and carefree interaction even under distress.

Using 3 pcs of Samsung’s popular LH351D emitter makes DL30 not only
powerful with up to 3.600 lumens and a maximum beam distance of 220
meters (240 yards) but also great in terms of color rendition with its
neutralwhite tint (5000K 90CRI).

diving.
Getting started
Before using the flashlight, unscrew the tail cap, remove the battery,
remove the insulating plates on the battery’s poles and charge the battery
in a suitable Li-Ion charger, e.g. the included USB charger. Once fully
charged, insert the battery with the anode side (+) towards the head, then
screw the tailcap back on.

Recharging
DL30 is supplied with one rechargeable 4.800mAh 21700 Li-ion battery and
a USB charger. Insert the battery with the anode side (+) towards the the
anode side (+) of the charger. While charging the LED power indicator red.
Once finished the indicator will turn green to indicate a full battery.

Operation Instructions
DL30 uses a magnetic control ring. Rotate the ring to turn the light on/off
and to change modes between low, medium and high.

Caution
 Magnetic object may possibly activate the flashlight and cause serious
disaster, therefore please keep it away from any magnetic object.
 Do not stare directly into the beam or point it directly into anyone's
face.
 Operating DL30 for a long time on high mode will warm the flashlight
up. This is normal.

Troubleshooting and Maintenance

 Disassembling the sealed head can damage the flashlight and voids the
warranty.
 Wurkkos Ltd. recommends using high-quality brand batteries. Damage
by defective batteries void the warranty.
 Remove the battery if the flashlight will not be used for an extended
period of time.
 To prevent self-discharge or accidental activation during storage or
transportation, unscrew the tailcap by half a turn or remove battery.
 Every 6 months threads should be wiped with a clean cloth followed by
a thin layer of silicone grease.
 To maintain a proper level of waterproofness, replace worn-out o-rings
with an approved spare (2 pieces are shipped with initial order).

Troubleshooting: Clean battery contacts regularly as dirty contacts may

impair the performance of the flashlight. If you experience problems
(flicker, shine intermittently or failure to turn on) the following root
causes and solutions should be tried:

Reason A: The battery needs replacement (Battery voltage is below

3.0V).
Solution: Replace battery with an approved type of fully charged
battery.
Reason B: Threads, PCB board contact or other contacts are dirty.
Solutions: Please clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in
rubbing alcohol.
Reason C: The flashlight will not turn on upon first use.
Solution: Please do not forget to remove the insulation stickers from
the battery on first use.

If the above methods do not work please refer to the warranty policy
