related). This makes the duration of study up to 8 years. Most medical

important to do so. To pursue a veterinary career, you must pass the
North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE), and obtain a
state license to practice veterinary medicine. It is also beneficial to gain
hands-on experience through internships or volunteering at animal
shelters or clinics as it shows other that you have past experience with
animals.

keep opening up as time passes. Veterinarians won't likely
run out of jobs soon since people often come to owning a
new pet with more families in America and with the huge
animal kingdom, people all around the world would love to
work with animals. The Benefits for this job are quite equal
to it's challenges, it gives a good compensation for all of the
time you spent in school before the job, and it does allow
some people to travel the world if they choose their role
specifically for that.

On the down side of that, there are still multiple challenges


that come with working as a Veterinarian. A Veterinarian
works long hours like just like a doctor so loads of time
needs to spent working which does cut down on personal
time. Not to mention the time spent to study for the career,
which does make it really hard to work as a Veterinarian.
Despite this, most Veterinarians still end up happy due to
their enjoyment from the job. Many Veterinarians derive
great enjoyment from their job because of their passion for
animals and the difference they make in their health.

There are many traits that a Veterinarian should have to be


successful. Some include: love and patience for animals, having
a flexible time availability, and staying organized. It is
important to be patient with animals because they don’t
always have the ability to interpret what we want them to do.
For instance, examinations and treatment. Time availability is
important because sometimes there are sudden emergencies
that animals have, which means you may have to give up
personal time for work. Another trait like being organized is
also crucial because you have to manage many different
animals as a Veterinarian. Therefore, you would have to
separate and manage animal records, data, etc.

When it comes to being a Veterinarian, there are a variety of hard and
soft skills that would help you succeed in your career.

For our Veterinarian career display board, me and my partner
will create a visually engaging presentation that helps the
reader understand out profession better. Our board will consist
of multiple pictures and drawings, representing veterinary
work and tools. We plan on making some cut-out paper fonts to
make visual words to add flavor to some of the major words on
the board. Handmade three dimensional figure will be
presented at the front of the board to add depth to our
illustrations. We will make sure that all words, writing, and
drawings are legible and attached to the board.
Creative and artistic impact
We want to catch the viewers’ attention by including a variety
of colors to our board and maintaining the Veterinarian theme.
Through all of these factors, we should be able to communicate
and display the career to the audience clearly. Pictures,
illustrations, and models will give the viewers a coherent visual
understanding of the career, and get them to obtain the
knowledge of what a Veterinary is.
