👋
***
Turn your cameras on so you
can get to know each other better.
***

Each person will take turns introducing themselves and answering an icebreaker question.

a) What's your story so far?

Share your background and interests.

b) Icebreaker questions:
1. What's a skill or talent you've always wanted to learn and why?
2. What's the most memorable moment of your high school so far?
3. What's the most challenging thing you've ever done, and what did you learn from the
experience?

2. Discussion rules (Optional, 2 mins)

1. Strong opinions, weakly held. Present your opinions with confidence while also
trying to change/refine your beliefs.
2. Inclusivity: Make sure everyone is included in the conversation. For example, if you
use jargon, make sure everyone understands the first time you use it.
3. Teamwork: You accomplish more together. Try to find how you could be most useful
to your group members in each discussion.
4. Other: Do you want to add any other discussion rules?

b) Read & comment on one section (2 mins)

Take 2 minutes now to read over 1-2 other group member’s worksheets and add comments.
Your aim is to help improve the document as much as you can, by pointing out what you
agree with, what’s unclear, and what you disagree with.

Typing out your comments is more informative but if pressed for time you can write:
● +1 – agree
● ? – unsure
● X – disagree

Set a timer for 2 minutes. Go!

c) Discuss (5 mins per question)

Try to start by stating where there’s the most shared agreement or you learned something
new, and then discuss areas of disagreement.

There are 9 questions but you don’t need to spend an equal amount of time on each one.
4. Weekly review (15 minutes)
What did you do last week and what will you do next week? What are your challenges?

a) Fill in the table (5 minutes)

Write in your answer in the table below. If you’ve already done your weekly reflection, you can copy and paste that here.

Set a timer for 5 minutes.
