Interpretation of Results
From above mean data (3.48) it is clear that the Job satisfaction level of employee is
more skewed towards satisfaction in the company. However Work Life balance mean
data( 2.46) is more towards unbalanced life.
Average age mean data (41.10) shows that most people are in middle level management
level in the company. Average salary per annum is around 15.60 lacs which is quite
good.
Standard deviations shows the variability or spread of data around mean. Age ,YOS and
Salary showing wide gap.

Interpretation of Results
From above age profile it is clear that most of the employee is in the middle ranging
from 30-40 years.
6
Interpretation of Results
From above gender profile it is clear that no. of male and female employee are almost
same. Gender equality is good.
Interpretation of Results
From above Job Satisfaction it is clear that most employees are satisfied as more
employees are giving score of 3 (neutral) and 4 (Agreed).
7
Interpretation of Results
From above Job Satisfaction it is clear that most employees are having work-life balance
not balanced as data is positively skewed.
Interpretation of Results
From above Year of Service it is clear that most employees are in the middle and
experienced having in the range of 10-30 years with one outlier 50 years.
8
Interpretation of Results
From above Salary data it is clear that there is a vide variation in the salary of employee
with maximum employee (12 in no.) getting 13 lacs per annum and highest salary is 30
lacs .
Box Plots
9
Interpretation of Results
• From the box plot, it shows the distribution between upper (Q1)& lower
quartiles(Q3) referred as the whiskers alongwith the median. The smallest
and largest values are shown as the hinges .
• From the above box plot, Median is pulled towards the lower hinges in case
of Age ,YOS and salary. In most cases , Positive Skew is represented by box
plot. One outliers is found at sl no. 14 of the respondent in the YOS.

Interpretation of Results
From above as the Pearson co-efficient r = (-) 0.373 (between JS -WLS) ; r = (+) 0.566
(between JS -YOS); r = (+) 0.580 (between JS -Salary), it was clear that Year of
Service and Salary has a positive and direct link with Job Satisfaction where as Work
Life balance has a negative co-relation with Job Satisfaction. The result obtained was
very much significant at 0.01 level (p=0.008 and p<0.001).- Null hypothesis rejected in
this case.
From above Work life balance has insignificant co-relation with Year of service
(r = (-).267 ) and Salary (r = (-).274)- Null Hypothesis accepted in this case
Also Year of service has significant positive corelation with salary ( r = (+)0.923)- Null
hypothesis rejected in this case.
4. One way ANOVA was constructed to find out any significant difference in
mean Job Satisfaction scores across different departments.
Ho: There is No significant difference in mean Job Satisfaction scores across different
departments.
H1: There is significant difference in mean Job Satisfaction scores across different
departments.

b. Negative but less biased estimates are retained, not rounded to zero.
Interpretation of Results
From above table the results reveal that there is no significant difference in mean across
departments in the employees on the basis of Job Satisfaction levels, as F value 0.105 is
less than the F critical value at 0.05 significance levels (F=2.427) and also at 0.01
significance levels (F= 3.465). Null hypothesis is accepted.

5. MAJOR FINDINGS AND CONCLUSION
The survey and findings suggest that there was a significant and direct connection
between Job satisfaction and Salary and also more year of service brings more Job
Satisfaction as evident from the Pearson co-relation co-efficient ; r = (+) 0.566
(between JS -YOS) and r = (+) 0.580 (between JS -Salary).
Work life Balance has nothing to do with Job satisfaction , Salary, year of service as
evident from correlation results , however it depends on individual how it handles
the situation both at work and life front.
As mean Job satisfaction is same cutting across department basis ANOVA findings
which suggests that company is having good retention policy.
It is therefore concluded that Better pay package is strong motivator along with
experience in a company for Job satisfaction.
