2. ALL questions are compulsory.

3. For part 1 (MCQs), write the answer in the spaces provided on the
answer booklet.

4. For Part 2 (SHORT ANSWER QUESTIONS), answer to each question


MUST be done on a separate sheet of paper.

5. For Part 3 (LONG ANSWER QUESTIONS), answer to each question


MUST be done on a separate sheet of paper.

6. Omission of and or wrong numbering of a question or part of the


question will result in 10% deduction of the marks scored from the
relevant part.

SECTION I: MCQ QUESTIONS

1. Rectal washouts is performed to clean the lower bowels:

4. Liver biopsy can be performed under the following indications.

2. Patient X is admitted to the ward and is for intravenous infusion i.e 500mls
Normal saline to run for 5 minutes.

a. Calculate the number of drop per minute. 3 Marks

b. State Three (3) indications of intravenous infusion. 3 Marks

c. Outline Four (4) complications patient X may present with due to


intravenous infusion. 4 Marks
