Student-science

*ok very good. And what sentence tells you that the paragraph is
all about science?

Student-1st sentence

*Then what do you call the sentence that enables us to know that

Student - main sentence or topic sentence

Alright good job! The first part of a paragraph is called topic

sentence and a topic sentence is (let them read the definition)

Again, what is our main idea?

Student-science

Now, how are we going to expand our main topic?

Student Alexa-by giving more information about the main topic.

And what kind of information are you going to add to make your
idea strong and may convince the readers ?

Student-factual information that will support the main idea.

So, what do you call the sentence that support your main idea?

Students-supporting sentence

details. (let them read the definition)

Both require selecting and organizing key ideas – When synthesizing

information, students gather key points from different sources and combine
them. Similarly, in writing an effective paragraph, they must organize
supporting details to develop a strong main idea.

Teacher: All right now since we have our supporting sentences or

supporting detail that support our main topic, what do you think is
the last part of part paragraph? What do you call the sentence that
will summarize the main points and complete your paragraph?

Student Ivy jane: summarizing sentence (wrong answerr kunohay)

Student Zheha: concluding sentence.

In short, just like a well-made Jollibee hamburger, a strong paragraph needs

all its parts to work together. The topic sentence sets the stage, the body
sentences add flavor and substance, and the concluding sentence holds
everything together neatly. With all these elements in place, your paragraph
will be complete, satisfying, and effective!
