V. Activity Summary The Department of Education has issued D.O.
No. 21, s. 2023, known as the 2023 Brigada
Eskwela Implementing Guidelines. It is to guide
schools on sustaining partnership engagement
activities and ensure its alignment with the
components of MATATAG Agenda. Brigada
Eskwela, is a nationwide voluntary effort of
teachers, parents, students, community members,
and other organizations to do minor repairs and
clean-ups on their schools in preparation for the
start of the school year.
In Esperanza National High School, we started
our kicked off on July 19, 2024, with a parade
that was joined by the teachers, students, parents,
community and stakeholders. After the parade
was, a short program hosted by Mrs. Christy P.
Salar a Grade 8 adviser. The registration of
participants was done before the program started.
Our school head Dr. Judith B. Ostia also
delivered her message as well as the Brgy.
Captain Mrs. Adelaida Olo in their message the
assured to give their support for the improvement
of our school. On Monday July 22, 2024 is the
start of cleaning and repairing session. Everyday
there are already barangay that was already
assigned. There were students who also enrolled
and accommodated by the teachers. The clean –
up drive includes the cleaning of school grounds,
repairing and painting the chairs, painting the
chalkboard, and cleaning the classrooms.
Everyone is busy doing their own task. The
activity was ended on Saturday July 27, 2024,
with a BIG SUCCESS.
VI. Result/Output The Brigada Eskwela activity ended up with a
BIG SUCCESS.
