       The COVID -19 pandemic has presented many challenges to students,
Educators and parents. Children already coping with mental health conditions have
been especially vulnerable to the changes and now we are learning about the broad
impacts on students as a result of schools being closed, physically distancing

guidelines and isolation and other unexpected changes to their lives.
       In connection with this, an E- portfolio for this new normal type of education
was created to assess the Learnings of the children, and the learning modality that we
used here at Barotac Nuevo Central Elementary School is the Modular Distance
Learning which is the only learning modality applied to all learners here in our area.
Printed modules were provided to our learners for their self-learning and we also
provided them with some additional resources to help them cope up with the
modality.
       In this portfolio, enclosed the various artifacts from each strand of LDM 2. It
contains Individual Learning Monitoring Plans, Weekly Home Learning Plan, Lesson
Plan, Performance Task, Activity Sheets, Certificates and Parent Communications
which were used in this new normal type of education.

 I always contact my pupils and parents for feedbacks and follow-ups through text, call
   and messenger. I gave simple examples and explained to them clearly. I also

 ANNOTATION:
 Some of my parents find it hard to go to school to get the modules of their children
 because of their work. This pandemic brought too much challenges for the pupils to
 continue their education. To address the needs of the pupils regarding this problem,
 I made a group chat in the messenger to easily contact or communicate parents or
 guardians regarding the distribution and retrieval of modules and other important
 matter concerning or related to the teaching and learning process. I also contacted
 them using text and call to disseminate important information.

This changes also is an opportunity for us learn more. To be creative and innovative in
implementing this distance learning. LDM Course serves as a great guide in improving
the teaching -learning process for it to be more effective and create productive pupils
at the end of the school year even though we are in the middle of this COVID 19
pandemic.
