Write a composition of one and half pages on the following topic;

b) Why were you awarded a prize

C1. When and where they got the prize is stated
C2. Explain why they were awarded a prize
C3. Clearly stated if they liked the price
C4. Stated encouraging words to his/her peers
C5. Creativity and originality is demonstrated across the composition
COMMAND OF LANGUAGE
C6. Descriptive vocabulary is used correctly (at least 2 used)
C7. Punctuation and capitalisation is correctly used (allow 3 errors)
C8. Sentence openings are varied between and within paragraphs
CONTENT MANAGEMENT
C9. There is coherence between paragraphs
C10. Introduction should set the scene and conclusion should be a summary of the whole
composition

will be held in your school.

C15. Stated the prizes that will be won
C16. Correct register is demonstrated
C17. Tense is used correctly (allow 2 errors)
C18. Variation of sentences (at least 2 types used)
C19. Allow 2 spelling errors
C10. Correct used of at least 2 different conjunctions
