ABCD is a Rhombus then x = …13°……
x = ……30°………..
2- Answer the following
∵ AC // DE // OF , m(∠A) = 180 – 110= 70 interior angles
∴ m(∠C) = 180 – 130=50 interior angles
∵ sum of angles of triangle = 180
∴m(∠CBA) = 180-(70+50)= 60
∴m( ∠CBA) = ( ∠ OBD )= 60 vertical opposite angle.

2) In △ ABE & m(∠B) = 180 – (70 + 45)

= 65o  (1)
m(∠A) = 360 – (115 + 65 + 65)
= 115o  (2)
From (1), (2) each two opposite angles are equal
∴ ABCD is a parallelogram

3) A
∵ Sum of interior angles of quadrilateral is 360o
∴ m (∠A) = 90o
∴ 2x + 5x + 3x + 90 = 360 D B

10x = 360 – 90 10x = 270

270 C
x= 10 x = 27o
4) The ratio between the measure of angles of a quadrilateral is
2 : 3 : 4 : 6 Calculate the sum of measures of the largest and smallest angles

First : Second : Third : Fourth Sum

2 : 3 : 4 : 6 15
? ? ? ? 360
2× 360 o
Smallest angle = 15 = 48
6 ×360 o
Largest angle = 15 = 144

)5

∵ ABCD is a rhombus
∴ m (∠DBA) = 62o
∴ m (∠A) = 180 – (62 + 62) = 56o

6(

AB ∈ ABCD is a rectangles, E

Such that m(∠ECB) = 44o, m(∠AED) = 46o

Find with proof: m(∠CED)
In △ BCE m(∠E) = 180 – (90 + 44)
46o =
m(∠CED) = 180 – (46 + 46) = 88o

7)In the opposite figure

° m(∠ A ¿ = 80° , m(∠ B ¿ = 60
AC ∈ If ED // CB , D ∈ AB , E
∠ AED(Find m(∠ DEC ¿ , m
m(∠C) + m(∠A) + m(∠B) = 180o In △ ABC
m(∠C) + 80 + 60 = 180o
m(∠C) = 180 - (80 + 60) = 40o
m(∠C) = m(∠AED) = 40o (Corr.)∴ ED ∕ ∕ CB ∵
m(∠B) = m(∠AED) = 60o (Corr.) ,
8)

∵⃗AB // ⃗

∴ m(∠A) = m(∠ACD) = 40o alternate angle
∵⃗CD // ⃗
EF
∴ m(∠E) = m(∠DCE) = 55o alternate angle
o o o
∴ m(∠ACE) = 40 + 55 = 95 alternate angle

9) In the opposite figure:

m (∠A) = 40o, m (∠E) = 55o
⃗ EF and ⃗
AB //⃗ AB //⃗
CD
Find: m (∠ACE)

AE bisects ∠BAC
∴ m(∠A) = 22o × 2 = 44 o

∵ m(∠A) = m(∠C) alternate angle

AB // ⃗
∴⃗ CD

10
∵ ∆ ABC is an equilateral triangle
∴ m (∠E) = m (∠F) = m (∠ECF) = 60o
∴ m (∠BCD) = m (∠ECF) = 60o
∵ Sum of interior angles of quadrilateral is 360o
∴ m (∠D) = 360 – (120 + 80 + 60 )= 100o
