c) In the given figure, POQ is a diameter and PQRS is a cyclic quadrilateral. If

a) Mr.Jain has a Recurring Account of ₹ 250 per month for a period of 1 year at
the rate of 10% per annum. Find the amount he will receive at the time of
maturity. [3]
b) A solid right circular cylinder of radius 60cm and height 20cm is melted and
recast into a right circular cone of height 3 times that of the cylinder. Find the
curved surface area of the cone. [3]

a) A TV tower stands vertically on a bank of canal. From a point on the other bank
directly opposite the tower, the angle of elevation of the top of the tower is 600.
From a point 20m away from this point on the same bank, the angle of elevation
of the top of the tower is 300. Find the height of the tower and the width of the
canal. [4]
b) In the given figure, a circle touches all the four sides of a quadrilateral ABCD
whose sides are AB = 6cm, BC = 7cm and CD = 4cm. Find AD. [3]
