II. Goals
1. General
To develop in the student the ability to analyze problems and make decisions
in the development, evaluation and management of projects, through a set of
formulation and administration tools and techniques, aimed at providing
general and specific criteria that regulate and optimize the process to properly
manage these decisions on both private and social projects.
2. Specific
• Introduce students to the different feasibility studies of a Project, as an
opportunity to create value in the company, when designing proposals that are
viable and sustainable over time.
• Design planning and strategies based on project evaluation, carrying out an
analysis of information from the different environments surrounding the project
under study, as well as different future scenarios.
• Know the different methodologies for project management, with emphasis on
the one developed by the Project Management Institute (PMI).

III. Management Skills
1. Generic
a. Solving problems creatively
It is the ability to solve, perfect, explain and generate a set of facts or
circumstances that hinder the achievement of a goal, through the creation
of new ideas and advances, through the application of methodologies,
including radical ones, in the solution of problems; looking for options that
improve the current, focusing on the achievement of goals achieved with
creativity, through teamwork, multidisciplinary participation and the
coordination of people.
b. Leading positive change
It is the personal ability to create and develop, establishing an authentic
and real environment, creating the condition for change; articulating a
future vision oriented towards abundance, generating commitment and
institutionalizing the transformation.
c. Investigate
It is the ability to do due diligence to discover or delve into the study of a
phenomenon. This skill is related to: the capacity for abstraction, analysis
and synthesis; the capacity for oral and written communication; the
capacity to learn and update oneself permanently, thus promoting
autonomous learning; the ability to search, process and analyse
information from diverse sources; the capacity for criticism and self-
criticism; the capacity for creativity; and ethical commitment.

Ability to plan strategies according to the needs of an organization, taking
into account variables and factors - quantitative, qualitative, organizational
and those related to power and behavior - that determine its functionality
and efficiency, to generate the maximum possible creation of value.
b. Prospecting finances
Ability to develop and carry out planning and valuation techniques to
ensure the future existence of the company, as well as to promote
informed decisions by investors, measure investment performance,
predict results, financing, operations and dividends, among other aspects,
in order to seek performance and receive returns, without having to take
