Field Coordinator- MC
Location: Taiz city / AlTurba areas
Reports to: Project Coordinator
Job Purpose:
To coordinate field activities and ensure the effective implementation of peacebuilding and mediation
project plans in Taiz city and AlTurba areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed field operation plans, including schedules, resource allocation,
and task assignments.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among field staff, local communities,
and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation.
Regularly visit project sites to oversee activities, assess progress, and address any
issues that arise.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and operational guidelines to protect staff
and beneficiaries.
Prepare detailed reports on field activities, including successes, challenges, and
lessons learned.
Quickly identify and resolve any problems or obstacles that may impact project
implementation.
Team Management:
Supervise Project Assistants, Field Volunteers, and Field Team members, providing
guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment, encouraging open
communication and teamwork.
Organize regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and upcoming
activities.
Community Engagement:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, local
organizations, and stakeholders involved in project activities.
Facilitate community participation in project activities, ensuring that local voices
and perspectives are considered in decision-making.
Conduct community outreach activities to raise awareness of project objectives and
encourage participation.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
Assist in the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation
frameworks to assess project impacts and effectiveness.
Collect and analyze data related to project activities and outcomes, preparing
reports for the Project Manager.
Provide feedback and recommendations for project adjustments based on
monitoring and evaluation results.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of project activities, including attendance, expenditures,
and participant feedback.
Prepare progress reports and documentation for internal reviews and donor
reporting, highlighting successes, challenges, and lessons learned.
Assist in the development of case studies and success stories to showcase project
impacts.
Capacity Building:
Identify training needs and provide capacity-building opportunities for Project
Assistants, Field Volunteers, and local partners.
Collaboration and Compliance:
Ensure that all project activities comply with organizational policies, donor
requirements, and relevant laws and regulations.
Collaborate with Project Manager to ensure effective communication and
coordination with other program areas.
