1. Application

This machine is designed for feeding material with its vibration. It’s
widely used in mineral separation, construction, silicate, and chemical
industry, etc. It can feed ores and rocks smaller than 300mm for the next
phase of production.

4. Principle and Structure

ZSW series vibrating feeder mainly consists of the vibrating frame,

the spring, and the vibration motor. The reverse rotation of the motor

generates massive joint liner exciting force which forces the machine

vibrate on the spring. The material will slide on the chute and move on to

feed.

ZSW series vibration feeder is featured with simple structure, sturdy,

evenly feeding, slight wearing of chute, long working span, etc.

5. Installation, Adjustment, and Commissioning

The machine will go through idling test after assembly and will be

supplied as a complete set. Users should inspect the machine in case of any

possible problem during transportation. Extra caution should be taken

during the installation, adjustment, and commissioning:

(1) The machine should be installed on concrete foundation due to the

massive vibration in operation. Please refer to the related drawings

for the installation dimension. To meet requirements of the next

process, steel structure and concrete foundation can be used to

increase or reduce the height the discharging hopper (up to the

users).

(2) The discharging chute is the auxiliary setting mechanism for the

feeder. It should be kept apart 90mm vertically and 30mm

horizontally from the main machine.

The machine needs to take a trial run after proper installation and

adjustment.

Idling test requirements:

(1) Continuous running for two hours

(2) All fasteners keeping firm

(3) All friction parts keeping free from wearing damage and unusual

noise under stable vibration.

For loaded trial run, extra requirements are as below:

(1) The material should be fed evenly in case of any massive shock to

the chute. Any unbalanced feeding or overfeeding would damage

the body of the feeder, the supporting springs, and the stability of

the vibration.

(2) The max feeding size should be within the limits.

6. Operation rules

Preparations before start-up:

(1) Read on-duty records, deal with remaining problems.

(2) Check and remove the obstructions among the machine body, the chute,

the spring and its supporting base.

(3) Check carefully if all fasteners are securely fastened.

Start

a) Before starting up, check if the machine and the

transmission system are in good condition.

b) It can only be started with no-load.

c) Stop the machine immediately if any unusual happened

after starting-up. Only the problems are solved can the

machine be restated.

Operation

a) The machine can be loaded with material only under stable

vibration.

b) Feed properly in accordance with the requirements of the

loaded trial run.

c) Stop the machine according to proper work flow. Do not

stop the machine when it’s loaded with material or keeping

feeding when or after stopping the machine.

7. Maintenance and Safety Precaution

Regular maintenance and troubleshooting is necessarily needed to

ensure the normal operation of the feeder and extend its service life. Users

should pay attention to the following points:

(3) This feeder is driven by the vibration motor drive; the motor current

and the temperature should be checked frequently.

(4) Make sure the right installation of spring to prevent the feeding

chute skew.

(5) Safety precaution

a) The machine operator must be educated by Security

technology;

b) When operating, standing around the feeder, touching the

feeder, adjustment, clearance and the inspection are all

prohibited.

c) The ground line is a must for safety; the wires should be

reliable insulation and installed in a snakeskin tube; check

regularly if the electrical wiring wears or have electricity

leakage.
