RESOLUTION NO. 40 Series of 2025
A BARANGAY RESOLUTION DECLARING A VACANCY IN THE
POSITION OF BARANGAY TREASURER IN BARANGAY KANIBONG, TULUNAN, COTABATO.
WHEREAS, Barangay Kanibong, pursuant to Section 395 of Republic Act
No. 7160, also known as the Local Government Code of 1991, is authorized to appoint a Barangay Treasurer who will perform duties as prescribed under the law;
WHEREAS, Mrs. Pinky S. Maquiñana, Barangay Treasurer of Barangay
Kanibong, has submitted her letter of resignation effective on January 15, 2025;
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay has acknowledged and accepted
the resignation of Mrs. Pinky S. Maquiñana, thereby creating a vacancy in the position of Barangay Treasurer; NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Barangay Councilor Pedro L. Vicente, duly seconded by Barangay Councilor Gerald G. Ventura, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that:
1. A vacancy in the position of Barangay Treasurer of Kanibong is
hereby declared effective January 15, 2025. 2. The Sangguniang Barangay is hereby authorized to appoint a new Barangay Treasurer in accordance with the provisions of Republic Act No. 7160, the Local Government Code of 1991.
RESOLVED FURTHER, to send copies of this Resolution to all the officials
and offices of the government concerned for their information.
UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.
